Power whip and dragon pulse, Power Whip hard counters every ranged attacker, changing the position of an enemy at will is very very powerful when done correctly. Dragon Pulse has uber healing when hitting a single enemy already, but when hitting 2, 3 or 4 enemies the healing scales exponentially, so goodra literally rewards nose-diving into team fights. I climbed to Master from Veteran with 35 days left or so despite mewtwo or zacian, and never changed my build. I'm an ok player overall. Goodra is just legitimately OP. Shell bell with double glasses I think is an underrated item set for goodra as well 👌

I never expected Goodra to be meta but he finally is after the buffs. The buffs to him finally brought him to the upper echelons of the Defenders. He is way more fun now and I love it.

I'll do you one better! Try using a red emblem build with positive special attack numbers, then replace muscle band with sp. atk specs, also use Potion instead of X Speed since Acid Spray provides enough mobility plus the slow decrease it does to enemies help you chase them. This build is incredibly tanky and you can literally brawl up to 3-5 enemies at once as long as you keep your Unite. (Its Unite move recharges fast and can recover move cooldown up to 10% if you keep farming/kill enemies). Try it!

I love muddy water so much, I do wish the radius was just a hair larger, but with mewtwos, urshifus, leafeons, and inteleons usually in every game it feels like I have to go dragon or play something different. Also very interesting to see the item and emblem spread you use for muddy water, I think mine is white brown and red but seems to work just as well 🤔

Brown it's for physical attackers and red helps with basic attack speed, which it's kind of good in goodra since it charges her abilities quicker

Shell bell spoon and focus band do a solid job with this build you can still usually bust out40-60k healing and tank 80k while doing 80k damage without a healer if not more. only thing id swap spoon for is wise glasses for more shell bell healing but I pref spoon for more damage

Oh hey I love this build on Goodra. Acid Spray is great to me since that buff that increased the lower. It’s a sure hit so pretty much a free 50%(or more) slow giving you plenty of time to land the second hit and get in on the opponent.

Goodra main here,i play similar spray builds. One is with same items ,but a full blue,4, purple full White emblem Page,to become almost unkillable and skirmish for very long,It wrecks character that are auto heavy like urshifu. The other one,similar items ( rapid fire instead of muscle),but with a 7 red 6 White whatever left Page . Very auto heavy ,ables crazy spam because of autos lowering cd. I actually stopped playing this once they buffed pulse,but with so many zacian and mewtwos It night be the time to start using them again.

Here is a unite riddle, the enemy team are 3 bottom 2 top, the enemy hoopa unites to call his mates while enemy ninetales gets ko'ed by inteleon, going on a 6 seconds cooldown, 8 seconds from that point, the bottom path was barley won by your team (by your urshifu) urshifu gets in a bush to base but gets ko'ed by ninetales, how did ninetales come back so fast Level : easy

I think they should buff acid spray by giving it a healing effect similar to dragon pulse. To balance they could nerf the slow effect

That's unnecessary. Dragon pulse heals and muddy water boosts defences. If we made muddy water heal too, nobody would choose dragon pulse.

​@@YosiahW So? Nobody in the world chooses Muddy Water in ranked because Dragon Pulse heals and Muddy Water isn't. And damage reduction isn't enough for it, you need someone else for Muddy Water or have an ult and it's bad. A little shield on Muddy Eater would be good, even with a capacity of Bubble.

@@-5H4D0W- The damage reduction is the highest def and special def stats in the game of 900+ and 1,000+ so they're literally the best stat buffs in Unite period. You have no clue what you're talking about because people do play muddy water in ranked, but as Cris said "It's only better when you have a pocket healer" because you can tank all the damage in the world but you will eventually die without a support. Nobody with common sense wants muddy water buffed because it's already very good. The only reason it's not played more is because dragon pulse is easier to pull off in soloq, 5 stacks and ranked. Why would literally anybody want a Goodra with triple it's defenses running around behind a shield or even healing on top of that?

It's so hard to use this build in solo Queue, because almost all the time, no one will be using a healer on your team. And I think it's also hard to use against A9 that spams CC on you. I think the 2nd part of Acid spray is knocked back by Blizzard?

Did anyone else find themselves 1v1ing Mewtwo's with Dragon Pulse Acid Spray? Since Acid Spray has a slightly more reliable stun than Power Whip, it's easier to line up your Dragon Pulses whilst also buying more time by stunning the enemy. You can basically out sustain anything one character with that moveset, but only in a 1v1. The moment another character shows up it's kinda game over unless you're god, but most of the time you'll lose. But yeah, anyone else find Goodra unkillable? Even Tackle seems to be capable of this! Just the reliable stun. Power Whip is probably still better though.
