His momentum / center of gravity is moving backwards after every serve. It looks too unbalanced. If he likes this serve, which I would understand then I'd say: Move more towards the center of the table (ie a little to the left). This still gives you interesting placement options.

BH serve is best. I can get so many points just using this with alternating back/top side variations. Only do like 10-20% from the VH side with that serve If you can send it out hard left to down the line. BH Rubber many Options: D05, T05, G1, Mx-p, Vega X, many Donics or any Esn rubber with 47.5 hardness Tensor even a Neo H3 37-38° If you'd like.

@@Basas.Michael backhand serve is definitely a great option. Those are good rubber options too. Only one I would not recommend at all is the h3.

Yeah NH3 or cinese, that's more for kinky ppl like me. I currently run a Battle Taichi 37-40 on one of my blades. It's not a Tensor but it is playable. I admit, I do like to experiment with unconventional options in that regard. If you'd wanna be save go for the other rubbers.

Hi you said on the beginning of video 📹 that if you're about to change the rubbers(tenergy 05 hard and dignics 09c) you might have other better options! So what's the better option on a viscaria blade? "Cause i have the same rubbers". Thanks.

Depends. What is your playing level and style? Also depends which side you're talking about. I use 05 hard myself but as a forehand rubber. Would never put it on the backhand.

If you like attacking with backhand, then this backhand serve from forehand side is fine
@Looeelooee13 сағат бұрын
@@z0uLess yeah for certain players it is fine but I don't think it's the best in this specific situation. He's sometimes even missing the serve outright because he's so hurried to get back to the right position. So if he does it he needs to do it more to his left and it'll be much more effective.

Firstly, i am sorry but this guy will not improve with this hard fast setup. He has messed up coordination and end up flailing.You even mention "there are many moving parts" at 10:09 not one movement and he didnt miss the shot at that time, he wasnt prepared to loop that weak push and end up throwing the ball outside the table. His forehand loop is straight up (body and hand) not even an inch forward. First before working on footwork, he need to condense his posture and strokes, focusing more on lower body and core, not hands. Secondly, 11:01 He missed many serves for one stupid reason. He catches the ball, moving to the table, SERVE! He just need 1-2 sec for preparation. He is almost serving while walking sometimes. His backhand serve is too far from the body makes him reach the ball and enging up pushing with less rotation/ almost punching and ball lands outside the table. He is standing too far from the table and should wait a little more for a ball to drop cause its too high. I am not a fan of his legs position one after the other. Makes u unbalanced L/R and putting too much force forward which also is the cause of too long serves. If you are watching try to mimmick f.e Wang YAng or Yiri Vrablik and check if you feel it better/worse. Its a good advice for everyone to mimmick someone, every baby mimmick parents doing :) I agree with the author that backhand serve from forehand side is less effective. Even more when TT is backhand oriented now and that serve can be attacked. Everyone is/should focus on backhand so its far more deadly to serve backhand serve from the middle/backhand side. Ofc situation change a little when u are righthaned playing against lefty. His opponent i believe is playing pips out rubber which is plague in amateur/beginner games. Sry for you but get used to it. Everyone who was a beginner knows how "FUN" it is to play against oldie with rubber from other planet and twisted hands in every way cause of age and injuries :) You either crush them (then you stop being a beginner) or they have fun playing you while them standin in one place :) When looping those balls u need to get down way lower, almost to the level when your eyes meet the ball, then twist your body while moving hand upward (the author mentioned u dont finish the move completely,) racket angle should be between 45-90' depends on the moment when u touch the ball (when ball is rising open the angle, when droping u can be close to 45') Against that chopper you should avoid his backhand and force him to move to his forehand when he has pips in rubber. And what you should never do is exactly what u do is serving sidespin to his backhand. When playing against that cursed human, focus on topspin serve annd play the push and loop game. Or focus on underspin serve and if he pushes your serve then attack it. The ball should be nospin/ little topspin so u can flick it or punch it. For someone who dont like too read what he should focus in order: 1-body form to lousy 2- when body good then footwork 3- when footwork good then service form ->prep -> tactics 4 - work on looping Please like it so i am courious how many readers i got :) Have a nice day and Happy New Year!

@@4r4chn4 agreed with most of your points here although I do think that's a little too harsh. He definitely has a lot of potential and will start improving even with this setup if he implements the notes I gave him. Equipment is very rarely why you're winning or losing even if it can help slightly. His blade is actually really really good. The backhand rubber isn't the most optimal but he'll live for now and can change to something tamer when that one needs replacing. Like you mentioned he misses the serves sometimes because he's moving and hitting instead of waiting for a second before moving back. But the reason he's moving and hitting is because he feels rushed to get back to ready position which means for his style he should not be serving from so far to the right. So it's a symptom not the actual problem. And the rest just comes down to technique which will get better with time and practice. Happy new year!!! 🥳🥳🎆🎇🎉
