"Help him open up, this sets you apart from Every Other Woman ". At my age, been there and tried that, it didn't work. I didn't even want to watch the video just because of the title . Are you kidding ? At our age those things should be figured out. Been through enough trying to get somebody to do something so basic. Not my job anymore. How about telling men to grow up and get some EQ about them. That would be nice.

Well I have to unsubscribe and I cannot listen to you anymore because I believe in what the Bible says, it is OUR INSTRUCTION MANUAL according to Romans 15:4 it says that it is "for our instruction so that we might have hope." The Bible does speak of women being in subjection to a husband. There is nothing wrong with that. Christ Jesus is in subjection to his Father, God Jehovah. The Christian congregation is in subjection to Jesus. And children are in subjection to their parents. It only makes sense that a woman / wife is in subjection to her husband. Just like every CHEF knows more than one cook spoils the soup. There has to be headship, it's just organized, it's structured and its disciplined, and it works. Personally I want a relationship that I'm in subjection to my husband. NOT that he will Lord it over me. He will listen to my input and my suggestions and if they are better than his he will humbly take my suggestion. It doesn't always happen, but sometimes he finds out later that he should have listened to his wife. Because of imperfection that's the way it goes.😂😮😊 I am getting that this advice from you is for people having sexual relationships outside of marriage, so this is definitely not for me!! Sincerely TAMI

I think the one-up-manship, with a man at the top, is in many religions. As far as Christianity, I believe the verses were construed to suit a European patriarchy, and are still misunderstood today by many good and sincere people. I think the perspective in the Bible might be better comprehended as a team of differing roles, not one better than the other. (And everyone has a choice of what they will consider cooperating with: cooperation being key but none of this brutal slavishness. This is about intimate love, not who gets the most power. Honestly, Women, you can just say no to what you are uncomfortable with and his power has just sunk to the floor.) Christian men in the Bible are instructed to care for women "as Christ cared for the congregation and gave himself up for it," as in 'Jesus gave his life up.' I can think of friends and family I would give my life to help and those I have already sacrificed much for...out of love not duty. Jesus is also quoted as saying, "He who is the greatest, must be your servant." So, folks, the reason the man gets respect, is for his deep sense of responsibility and service, and he must earn that respect. Women, you must give respect, if you want love. One beef I have with the feminist movement is women weren't even thinking of how a lack of respect immasculates a man, and they lose their love for her and their desire for her. I understand that the sense of responsibility might scare some men, but if you don't have that sense of responsibility (and, ladies, let's face it: our hormones drive our brains batty a lot of the time. Yes, we have good qualities, too, but guys usually have this wonderful ability to see the bigger perspective.) if guys don't take that sense of responsibility, (and she doesn't encourage him in it) she will have a hard time giving him the admiration, encouragement, respect he needs, as well as love. Guys, you do not have to be perfect. It would be so intimidating to have a partner who is perfect, don't you think? I'd rather have someone who has empathy and understanding when I make mistakes. "Cherish her" the verses say. That means cherish her by what? giving her what she needs not what you imagine she needs? Women, you have got to speak up about your needs and quit the "mysterious woman thing" in that way if your togetherness is to work: honest communication. If a man cherishes a women is he not going to respect her point of view? Will he not respect her feelings? Is he first self-serving, and then considers her? And, ladies, you must, you MUST be brave and be assertive and communicate your own needs and wants, too, or the man will be clueless to your inner world and you will be lonely. He'll feel lonely, too, not connected with you. People are scared off by the Bible because of those who have abused it for centuries. What would you give your life for? Can a person become so precious to you, you'll do everything within your power for them? Do you already have people you show self-sacrificing, unselfish love to? friends, family? Good, then if you've exercised your "love muscle"-your heart- you're ready for some serious love. (And sex being more intimate, more precious to you both, more connecting-sex being sacred!-now has a chance. God created sex, he wants you to enjoy it.)

I have question, I have a tendency to meet men online for coffee or a casual bite to eat. And this has happened on more than one occasion... The man will text me immediately after, saying " I had a great time, I'd really like to see you again", but not call me again. One recently even asked me if I'd be interested in going to a place where there is live music, but I have never heard from him again. Why do men do this? Better to just not say anything, then to make a gal feel like you really like them.

I like Jonathon and learn a lot from his videos, but I think he is wrong about having light conversation. I think conversation in the beginning needs to be light and sometimes a "Hope you have a good day." is enough to let someone know you are thinking of them ... especially early on. I'm not sure having deep conversations (e.g., insecurities, flaws, childhood wounds, sex ) early in the relationship is necessarily a good thing. I'm not sure I want to know or share all that messy "stuff" immediately.

Jonathon, there are many of us women who are possibly one pay check away from homelessness. I know as I was there and had a daughter too. God put a dear wonderful friend in my path and we got an apartment together and shared our expenses. Maybe there is someone out there that could be a friend and share expenses for an apartment? My friend and I were acquainted for a couple of weeks and she suggested that we share an apartment. Btw, she was in a wheelchair with osteoporosis disease. What a wonderful blessing she was. Amen! You we're on fire tonight - so Fun!! Love your profile Johnathon. I resonate with everything except the "plant consciousness exploration". Been there done that. Plant & shroom energy resonates at a certain frequency and one can actually outgrow this level or rise above these frequencies at some point. After many, many exploratory workshops and a two year deep dive into spiritual studies in Transformational Psychology and becoming a Transpersonal Hypnotherapist & Reiki Master Practitioner, one becomes aware that Enlightenment can be reached at higher levels without extemporaneous psychoactive substances (IMO). Their use in Ceremony is something different, it can have a place for some Practitioners and Participants, but so many don't respect the plants and psychotropics in this manner. One may get stuck at a certain frequency or level if one doesn't journey beyond simply using substances to reach enlightenment. One can do a deep dive and explore the meaning of life with other methods...❣️💫😁

I’m looking forward to reading everyone’s comments about this because this is the situation most of us ladies find ourselves in. I suppose you need to work out what you want and communicate this to him. Are you happy to progress to sex now or would you like more dates, are you hoping for short term or long term, so many questions. Keep us posted.

I would be offended if he said that to me. Seems a shallow comment when you spent so much time together. I would pay attention to his behavior closely and assess if he is genuine or just in it for hoochie koochie….

@@auntie44m I’m not seeking sex, he has made a couple of sexual jokes which were funny but then I was like hummm, where is he going with this. I’m 59 he is 60, we just starting talking 6 months ago. We were not friends in school he played football and I always thought he was good looking. He had back surgery bout 2 years ago and I followed him and prayed for him and he had a girlfriend then that helped him and I’m friends with her on FB, when they broke up she blocked him now he is about to have surgery again and they are back friends. When he and I talked about going for a ride to star gaze I ask if he any girlfriends in the picture cause I don’t want any drama and he said no. I have noticed that on some of his posts comments are hidden and I blocked a girl that put a mad face 😡 on one of my post about love,, she and I are not friends but him and her are, so I ask him about that an he said that it’s not like that with her! He has not invited me to his house to meet his kids and grandkids. Doesn’t say anything about my 17 year ole son which is a red flag 🚩 to me. So at this point I’m going to ask him what his intentions are since the comment. Thank you for your advice.

@@Tbn48ibp I was thinking that same thing. He has been married 4 times and he has told me about them, was like hummm what’s her side of the story. If he want sex he can go on. Thank you for your support!

He didn’t send a dick pic 🤷🏻♀️I mean are you sexually interested in him? He might just be saying what you both are thinking…

I just started the video but I have to tell you this. I once told a friend that my ex felt like home. It didn't stay that way though. Things changed and he showed his true colors.

Stacey …I agree. Weed them out when they are rude. If he ghosted you in middle of a conversation ….for 12 hours…I’d say pass…next …..

Thanks for sharing your profile with us. I'm not on any dating sites, so found it informative. What I liked were no references or requirements in regards to age, looks, size or financial status 😉. What I found more challenging was the strong focus on personal development and growth (admittedly important and why we follow this channel) but no mention of interests outside of this. Shouldn't we embrace the possibility of someone new's differences and their varying hobbies and interests to be open to trying to learn or understand something we never considered before? It's all very confusing 😊 but I do like those intimacy cards and find them entertaining for some reason 😂
