For the first like 2-3 Months, people completely ignored the St.Vincent, majorly for its weak armour, I immediately unlocked it and fell in love with the accuracy, The speed that makes light cruisers think they have the hand brake engaged. But then people played it in the tournament and suddenly people woke up to the Broken mess that is the St.Vincent. also, 65% firechance XD

i love to use my vincent as a flank machine, go stealth, hit speed boost, it can outrun some of the gun dds in a straight line and just announce urself with a fat broadside salvo on a side that enemy saw nothing at just a minute ago

St. Vincent has to be one of favorite ships in the game, its such a monster. The AP slaps hard, the HE is cracked, and the guns are just overall consistent and accurate. Paired with the speed, conceal, and all the other shit she has going for her The one thing I wish they would change is make her more vulnerable broadside, not like hawke or duncan levels, but she has a water line cit with a turtleback and spaced armor, maybe just having it waterline like monty and ohio would be better, still has a fuck ton of things going for her, but at least then she’d be easier to punish.

@@Axel23410 sure the HE could be nerfed bringing down the firechance, and the conceal could probably go to a flat 13km Not really sure touching other aspects of the ship would be beneficial, the big 3 problems with it imho is its hard to punish, the HE is a bit much, and shes dummy stealthy The guns should stay consistent, Thunderer guns are still overall more consistent, gotta remember Vincent only has 1.6 sigma to thunderers 1.9, while yes the BC dispersion definitely carriers it, theres also a fair amount of times where the sigma is felt. If the guns become inconsistent it just wouldnt be enjoyable to play Her external armor is still pretty bad, massive 25mm bow and stern, 32mm sides, 40mm deck, shes still overmatched by nearly all bbs on the extremities, and she gets bursted down very easily by sustained DPM Torps are very situational and wouldnt be worth touching. Ig the reload could go to 50secs, but why? To what end? Remove the improved acceleration? I guess, but again, to what end? Thats not what breaks the ship imo, especially if the big 3 problems with her get nerfed. The actual engine boost is fine, only is 8% and only lasts for 2 1/2 minutes with the mod, again its not what breaks the ship. The super heal is pretty fucking nice ngl, but if shes easier to citadel then it should be fine to stay. It should be a strong ship, but it shouldnt be OP, and nerfing the internal armor, the HE, and maybe the conceal too would likely be enough, thats really what pushes her over the edge

As cruiser main, i don't really like playing BB or BC due to their DPM but this thing is nuts. Play it like Marseille or even DM (depend on maps) but with overmatch & superheal that allow you to push into stupid position, its easy to score 200k+ dmg. No wonder i hate fighting against it in any cruiser.

Imo this ship should have no bigger guns than 419s. It already has so much going for it. Outpacing cruisers, superheal and british HE is broken enough. It really doesnt need that 30mm overmatch on top. And ffs WG, it needs a raised citadel already. We had the same bs with Conqueror before.

It's basically an improved Thunderer. You get an extra gun (same gun as Thunderer), slightly better accuracy, faster, super heal & torpedoes

What does the conqueror do that this doesn’t? Honestly it seems to me like there’s literally no reason to touch conq since they added this into the game. I don’t understand why they gave this the same he performance as the other line… sure, conq has more guns but they’re lower calibre and the dispersion is god awful compare to this, so you’ll probably hit similar numbers of shells.

Conqueror is a better tank. It has the most efficient heal in the game. Its almost unkillable.
