Did not expect them to add it for steel so soon after Kommissar. That ship is also really nice, but I like the Svea gameplay much more. Any interest in a Kommisar video?

Kommisar is excellent IME. It'd be a strong ship even if it didn't attack aircraft (which are nice for spotting DD/subs and smacking BBs). Terrible turning radius so make sure you don't sleep walk into a vulnerable position (my weakness when I launch the attack aircraft - "oh woops, launched my planes while hard rudder shifting"... lack of exp in hybrids :x). Citadel machine and good HE as well (would like a bit higher DPM but can't have it all I suppose). Torps are decent as well. I'd be curious to hear what Maltese thinks about the boat + play style.

True, but people said that about Ragnar (since it does not have the best dpm) and now Ragnar has better damage averages than all the other dds at tier 10 (although this could be due to people farming stats instead of hunting dds). I think Yuro's video on the Ragnar best explains this phenomena (you basically farm dmg for free with your 30mm pen and good fire chance after you murder enemy dds)

I'm a little annoyed they made a fake refit of Tre Kronor/Göta Lejon before introducing the actual ship/s that the hull and armament is based on. Honestly other than slightly improved gun mounts and more torpedo tubes and AA the difference is very minor. Ship looks quite good at least.

@@shironee_2384 Perhaps, but idk what else they'd put in there when they split off the Dutch and Spain. They'd probably have to start inventing a lot of fantasy ships since not many other European nations operated cruisers. Or any cohesive mechanic to tie them together. Not to mention practically being ultra-light with quite limited protection. Sweden only produced 3 cruisers during the time period. Gotland, famous for reporting Bismarck sortieing from the Baltic and which the Swedish government casually leaked to the Brittish Naval Attache, and the two Tre Kronors by the end of WW2 using surplus guns that were meant for the Dutch Eendracht before they had a German issue on their soil. Maybe the old armored cruiser Fylgia could sneak in at t2 or something.

So essentially it's crusier version of a Gdansk. Just with better torps and more HP it feels like. Strong dd killer, but got to be picky about when you want to attack.

Sometimes, when MK says this "it is what it is" thing, I imagine that in his "day-job" he sits in a huge leather seat, cigar in his left hand, putting down a glas of really good whiskey to his right, while a huge, brutish looking giant goes down on one knee and kisses the comically large ring on MK's right hand while tapping down the tiny stream of blood running down his temple. Yes, Worcester has the same, heavy cruiser would be 27mm but in the game there are some light cruisers with 19mm also, and some heavy cruisers with 25mm also. I refer to T10 when I mention these values.

I played against this and it destroyed my team. Pure OP. Outnumbered is a good choice as the dude who played against us used that play style. He smoked and radared, torpedoed and Ragnared us and deleted half my team. The guy defiantly used IHFE and shredded me in a BB. Took 4 of us hunting him to send him back to port.

I have had Ragnar for a long time and never play it, while the paper stats look good, the gameplay is not, no smoke, 7.5km radar which is to close and you get fucked, or you play farm and it is boring, you get hit hard, no torps, so sail around doing nothing or die. Get anything else 100% btw, just a thing, it is not even in Clan Battles it is just that bad.

It looks like WG will stop coal ships just like free xp ships. This could have been coal ship, it doesn't deserve to be steel ship. Imagine this ship in category of FDR Shiki or meck. Salem is much better ship nd its available for coal.

People can get both Salem and Svea. WG didn't announce any end to coal ships, and continue to award coal, so I don't know where you got that information.

Wargaming is sacrificing new players to satisfy old ones. This is just as stupid and OP as all the other radar/smoke ships. Hard enough for an experienced player to play DD around and new players will get wrecked by it. This is bad for the game and will cause the player base to continue to shrink as new players feel powerless.
