✿ How to pronounce my name?
It's supposed to be like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters (a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds super weird to me!!) (yes it's an L not an i)
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Name change might happen eventually (I've been saying this since march...) but I'm afraid of people not liking it lol

Honestly, Rock Bottom makes the most sense to me as a Q3 imo Q3s are generally items that are almost always good to have, but need extra support to be hard carry items, while Q4 items are generally items that on their own result in your run becoming much better almost instantly Rock Bottom falls cleanly on the higher end of Q3 or the low end of Q4 tbh, it's a carry item if you get good stats for it or temp stat up items like Star of Bethlehem, but generally doesn't help as much if you get it later in a run It's not a power spike like most Q4 items are, basically

@@Alsry1 void and abyss are actually good on their own. They make useless q0-2 into something useful. Void, for example, can give you an amazing stat boost that you will only get if you're lucky with q3-4. Abyss on the other hand can give you a dps up in early game or even late game if you don't find d6, dInfinity or spindown. The fact that there are some really amazing and overpowered q4 doesn't make abyss and void lesser quality. BUT I'd give some q4 a q5 quality

Rock bottom doesn't do anything without either temporary stats or stat manipulation. Those who take the best advantage of that are all q4. Items like mega mash, proptosis, ipecac, polyphemus and magic crown. All are amazing in their own right and become amazing with rock bottom Some items fit that description in q3 are great with rock bottom and fine but not game breaking on their own. Like Star of Bethlehem and death touch The items in lower quality that do it are terrible without rock bottom and the likelihood you'd take them prior to it is low. Like experimental treatment, soy milk or libra So while rock bottom can be amazing with the right items. If you don't get those items it is really underwhelming. And if you remove q4 items you take a lot of the rock bottom viability I'd say that because of rock bottom needing other great items to be great. And not being good enough on its own right. Is enough for it to not fit q4

You should try d100 in a run at some point. Not so much as a challenge run, but in the same way tmtrainer gets to be the "what could stop me at this point" item, if it shows up, run it for a bit. Gives variety that only items you would never pick up otherwise can give.

glitch crown is bugged anyways with the rule mod, when it tries to put a quality 0, 1, 2 or 4, in this case it will immediately replace it with a random q3 item and makes the item pool infinite...
