I agree with you about the risk of injury to Mike. He's in great shape for a man his age, but he's still giving away 30 years. It seems to me that Mike can't win either way. If he wins, people will say "Well, he should have. He's Mike Tyson, after all". If he loses and, God forbid, gets hurt, that will be even worse.

Mate you are the most inspirational English boxer ever. Beating jermain Taylor in the last 10 seconds it just shown how much heart and desire you had unbelievable. You beat everyone that was put infront of you. Abraham unified the titles against butè (who everyone thought was unbeatable) pascal who's a great fighter. Also groves whose a legend who sold that fight . I think he really got into your head . The 1st one I think he was underestimated but the second one you come out with something too prove and you absolutely flattened him . Kessler won a very close 1st fight but the second fight you won in ease you had that fire in your belly and you came threw. I would love too meet the cobra froch. Proper English fighter. I don't buy that Tyson will definitely fall over when Paul fights him, because he's 58. That's what Froch has said. He's also said any top pro within 10 years after retirement can beat Paul. He's 47. It's different, but is it really that different? The big differences are individual, more than father time.

Personally, think it is a shame that oil money is buying up professional sports, including boxing. I have my money on Bivol. Both come from the Soviet boxing system though it will come to if Bivol's defense and ring IQ be enough to hold off the pressure and power of Beterbiev and I think Bivol can do it. I also hoped that the Clark vs Wardley would have been in England just as I believe that if Fury fights Joshua should, and must, be in England. Good post Mr. Froch.

Sadly I agree with you about the Mike Tyson/Fake Paul fight, I think its going to be one of those "fights" that will get a lot of money but will only increase the ego of Jake. I admire him for getting in the ring and fighting but something doesnt seem right about a lot of his fights, if he was the knockout machine he thinks he is then why doesnt he train and fight a current fighter (Jai Opetai) and see how he gets on. Ah, Mike almost certainly needs the money. It is a bit sad, but it is prizefighting. Someone has got a prize for them to fight for. I don't know how tyson is physically but if he was in shape, I would still make him favourite in a 3 round fight. Paul is a white collar boxer who made Tommy Fury look bad, if you think Fury is a boxer. But he is immobile, deeply limited in his punching.Tyson will be capable of one-punching civilians well into his 70s, if he can avoid the big overhand right I see stamina as the only issue.👍

Frankly, i dont even want "you" to fight jake paul. I want you to stay retired for the best reasons. The thought of mike tyson fighting jake paul makes me feel sick. If mike is badly injured it could permanently damage boxing. People that pay to watch boxing have often never fought and not entered a gym. Just hearing how hard sparring punches are thrown from professionals compared to amateur boxers in a gym made me realise how hard boxing is for even the best of boxers. Another great post mr froch.
