Who wants more videos with Jack? Any other riders I should ride with?

Awesome video, it is a real treat to see Jack in street, since then it easier to grasp his level, which by the way is insane. I would love to see You, Jack and Charlie Rolls in one street video.

Many trials riders do things that seem they “shouldn't be possible” - but Jack Carthy looks like he can just completely switch off or modify the rules of physics at will.

@1:42 wait... was that a warm up lap!? Edit after watching the whole video: I feel like we need a Jack Carthy street trials edit withing the next 2 years... Also i feel like one of the main differences if someone is doing a sport for so long at a high level is consistency. Just looking at how consistent he brings out those quite big moves is insane. I got a similar feeling when i first started watching Tom Cardy's videos when he was riding with Sam Pilgrim. Obviously both inredible riders, doing things on their bikes i don't even dare to dream about. But that consistency Sam has in bringing those tricks is incredible. Tom is getting more and more consistent, which is very visible when you go back to older videos and compare it to his riding now. Another example where it was visible for me was Warner Nickerson. Former Pro-Alpine skier who did this series "kicking it with a badass". When he was skiing with someone like Alexis Pinturault, Mikaela Shiffrin, Alice Robinson or Dave Ryding it was obvious how incredibly consistent they bring those turns compared to Warner.

is there any kind of regulation with regards to stem length, angle, bar..etc..his stem is so far forward that it has to influence reach, leverage..etc.. (obviously means diddly squat if you can't do 1% of what he does, but in the hand of a super skill rider)... Also, pretty crazy to se teh flex he puts on his fork when he hooks his front wheels and load it to get up on an obstacle, totally rad

Question here: What is the the Benefit of using a rim break over a disc break? Noticed that most of the comp bikes have one. 🤔
@dpaterson423 жыл бұрын
The disc brake systems have flex… as the braking is closer to the middle of the wheel,compared to rim brakes.. in a 20” trials bike the spokes are shorter so it’s not so pronounced.
