I hope you enjoy MHA, there are various criticisms about the direction the show has taken; granted I had my own grumble a couple of years ago but I'm way too invested in it. Unfortunately I can't gush about how I relate to it without spoilers, just that it's worth reading a little deeper into things. and a slight word of caution. Despite how vibrant this show is, it does get a bit gnarly considering how innocent it looks on the surface. I'm all here for it too.

I know you guys have done more reactions, so maybe youve peiced this together on your own since then, but almost every9ne in the world DOES have powers. Powers showed up many generations ago, and with every generation more and more kids ended up having powers. At this point theres only 20% of the entire population that is powerless, but even that includes the elderly, and people from older generations where having a power wasnt such a given. The powers themselves arent always super interesting or strong, for example Dekus mom can only float small things twords her. Some people can stretch their eyeball really long. Useless stuff really, but they still have one. Also its illegal for people to use their quirks on other people. There are strict regulations placed on quirk usage and heros have to go to school to learn and earn their hero license. So a lot of the people you see just standing by and watching a villain attack, do actually have powers, they just arent legally allowed to use them

Oh wow thanks for the informative comment! We have gathered more info as we watched more episodes, and like you said a lot of people's quirks are quite random for example in the hero exam we have the host who's quirk is being extremely loud haha. However we didn't know that there are regulations places upon the civilians! But now that we know that it definitely explains a lot :D

@@ManandWifeReact Hey, don't count out Present Mic! That voice can do a lot of damage! 🤣 But yes there are a lot of regulations and politics that you will start to notice as the show goes on. It's integral to the plot. Right now we're just getting to know the characters, but believe me it will get deeper.
