I have yet to find a braid that doesn't fade out quick. I keep a fat black sharpie in my bag to color it. Those are such darn cool fish. SO jealous.

I hope you catch a monster one here soon and can feel their pulling power! I'm done with spider wire after I finish this last piece of spool I have left. It turned to crap, color and frayed, on the first couple of trips out. Thanks for coming out brother!!

Never caught a Bowfin before…..plenty of Pickerel but never a Bowfin but man they look like fun. That was awesome Lance ! That creek is a cool place to fish with plenty of behemoth Bowfin….are they good eating ? Good stuff buddy !

I really don't know because I have never ate one. I've heard about 50/50 on good and bad from people. I might do a catch, clean, cook just for fun and see for myself..lol..Thanks for comeing out Don!!
