A slam like that is what herniated 2 discs in my lower back. I fell trying to do a spin (switch direction) off of a royale on a handicap rail. This was probably 13-14 years ago. I still have chronic pain from that injury that I have to manage on a daily basis.

Man I feel your pain. I took a massive fall off the skateboard yesterday in my driveway with no pads. Hit a stick and slammed. Knocked the breath out of me, busted my wrist, elbow, hip, and the side of my foot. Today's inline session was painful. Keep up the good work, hope you aren't too sore from that!

I bounced back pretty the next day, I'm starting to get smarter about calling the session off early, sometimes I let my pride get in the way and then I slam more

My driveway will be the death of me, I can't tell you how many times I have slammed on everything with wheels doing the "I'll just try this one little thing" with no warmup, no pads, and no brain in the mix!

You need to hop up more. If you watch your hips when you're jumping, they barely go up until you stand up in your grind. You are jumping up, a bit. But, you're more so just bending your knees/ lifting your feet. Then pushing up on the rail to stand up. Keep at it, old head.😂

Ouch. You slip because one of your leg missed the PVC and went straight for the wood. That wood is slippery as ice. Maybe practice rolling through the middle of the wood to feel how rolling on it would feel. I don't know. Maybe it is a stupid idea.

Your short frames didn't help you on that miss. Longer frames are going to help your stability front to back. Where as a short frame, you're going to have more likely hood to lose balance on awkward landings, etc...
