I just got home from fishing a small pond that I put bass in 30 yrs ago. I had no idea if they were still in there but I was using a 6 inch rapala and something hit it hard and then I saw a huge swirl in the middle of the pond. Whatever that was it was not small! I did not hook any fish but I saw fish jumping and spooked something big right next to shore as I was walking around it. I think top waters at dark will produce some real monsters! The jitter bug never fails after dark! That is my favorite top water lure for big bass at night.

I been having alot of problems with red eye shads not running good out of the package lately. I think quality control has gone down alot.
