@heroedeleyenda05 Жыл бұрын
I agree that he should do more budget friendly devices. but i think he should still only stick to the ones that really stand out from the rest. which is what he does right now. you've got this, he did one on the pocophone f1, he reviewed the mpow headphones. those are devices that really have something that differentiate them from other budget tech. so he does review budget tech, but he is more selective. i think instead of doing 1 or 2 budget devices each year, he should do 5 or 6. but he needs to still stay selective. there are great channels that do high quality reviews of budget tech. i used to follow a couple, back when i was going trough a financial rough patch, and couldnt afford premium phones that werent 4 years old. but to be honest, when you can afford premium tech, the budget options are not an option anymore. because you give up a lot of things when you go budget. the cameras always suck, screen quality sucks, processor speed sucks, and you start to appreciate the premium stuff again. but there is a need for low budget tech when you're counting every dollar you make. but once youre back on your feet, all the budget tech blends together. dont get me wrong, i still enjoy a great deal on a low budget item. but it has to really stand out from the rest. just like mpow headphones did back before they got cancelled. the pocophone f1 was a great budget device with premium features, but a tech item, has to be at that level of price advantage for me to even consider it anymore. if I want something cheap, i just look for a used premium item that is 1 or 2 years old.

I'm still using a smartwatch cost me $9 to provide all these features, obviously Chinese for 1.5 years now! The best thing about cheap tech is you don't care much about its aesthetic and beauty and can use it rough. For the use case, I get at least 7-9 days on a single charge. Although I wear it roughly 2 hours a day, it's always on. It connects extremely well with other devices. And I think that's the best use case - to control with your watch ~ like phone notifications, cutting a call (still don't know why Apple doesn't allow people to cut their phones if the phone is locked), changing music, and the step counter.

Notifications, especially call notifications. However, my watch was much cheaper than yours, so yours might have some other features.
@blakenoel Жыл бұрын
The big thing for me is that it legitimately made me look at my phone less, which is a value gain. Timer, time, notifications, flashlight, etc that used to require I pull out my phone, can simply be accessed by the watch, which reduces the chance I then switch over to some social media or game.
@DanielRieger Жыл бұрын
I mean if you’re only buying things you can’t live without you won’t get a lot of stuff… I use mine to track exercises and check my progress, heart rate, weight etc… also really good for running, especially downloading songs to it and connecting earbuds and gps, so I don’t need to bring my phone when running. Other than that it’s slightly more convenient to check notifications. It’s also a really good alarm to wake up to, instead of an annoying sound, I just get a silent vibration on the wrist
@arsalaan_1 Жыл бұрын
My phone is always on silent mode because I don't like recieving calls but sometimes in silent mode I missout some very important calls. So that's why I use my smartwatch to notify me about calls via vibration.

I bought the apple watch ultra 2 a few weeks ago. Returned it. It was impressively uncomfortable. That sensor housing in the back of the watch dug in to my wrist. I loosened it, but it got unbearable. Even a week after i returned it, i still had a dull pain in my wrist from it. Such a shame because i liked the watch itself and also looked great

I think it would be less accurate, but not that huge, considering the huge price gap
@dberg123 Жыл бұрын
@@kangkhalim6763 Yeah maybe not. I just think there's a lot of technology out now, specifically budget ones, that "check a box" of having a feature. But when they don't work well I think it's just producing trash. It entices people to buy it, it doesn't work, and they throw it out. You'd think Nothing would do some due diligence, but they're not putting their name on it, they're putting CMF's name on it to not hurt their own brand.

Well, smartwatches aren't a real tools to measure health anyway, but as a benchmark on how to improved yourself from day to day. You could try mi band 8, its cheaper and has a nicer display (AMOLED, 60hz) and it runs and feels a lot smoother plus the battery is pretty good, 1 to 2 weeks it depends on how much you use it.
@markmywords3817 Жыл бұрын
What's off putting about the mi band is the oval display. I've had the 3, 5 and 7 and the 3 has the best battery life (because it was a dot display). I mostly used them for tracking my heart rate during workouts. It was a good first smartwatch if you haven't had one but after a while I wanted a larger screen, so I went for budget ones that had that and so far it's got most of the same features as in this video. You want accessories just do enough basic stuff and get out of your way. For me, I don't need my watch to replace my phone and distract me more easily.
@nodaysoff9536 Жыл бұрын
@@markmywords3817 Same here I even wear them when I go for a swim and had no problems thus so far, didn't expect that for a product of this price. I had the 6 and now the 8, switched to 8 because its a lot smoother, and for the oval display me personally I love it because its slick, and it doesn't stick out when I wear it in public.

I think a big win for this CMF watch compared to other budget watches (if the spec list is accurate) is that it has GPS built-in which is a deal breaker for me. I'm in the uk and can't seem to find anywhere to buy it. Ive been using the Amazfit Bip S for a few years now and its feature rich and looks better that the CMF. Im probably going to upgrade to the Bip 3 for £69 and looks to outclass the CMF in my opinion.
@DiesOnAToilet Жыл бұрын
Yeah, that surprised me too. I like to keep GPS off on my phone except when I need it (mostly) to save battery life. So if I can do that and still have location function for the watch that would be cool. But I have a strong suspicion that the CMF app will ask / nag me about / or even insist that I also turn location on on my phone to use most location functions. That's the way these things usually work for whatever reason.

The build, Idk how the hell you got "plastic feeling" from the aluminium body body but I handed it to my IT coworkers and asked them what they thought it felt like and they ALL said, "aluminium" and a few said, "aluminium with some sort of coating on it". Secondly, the button, I asked them if the Burton felt "cheap" and they said it doesn't, it doesn't have an audible click but that's fine, it still feels firm and assuring. Otherwise great review.

Great watch! Its a good watch. Came across it in store the other day. Definitely would recommend it for anyone looking for an entry level smartwatch.
