Alex Higgins clearance in the 1982 semi final. Hands down. Talk about pressure. Crazy

Favourite moment of all time.. Alex Higgins used his cue extension to extend the rest...played the shot ...went to take it offunscrewing it...could make budge ...gave up ...went to Steve James and ask to borrow his cue extension. James gave him it ...his face as Higgins used it was a picture! Higgins wasn't gentle with it... Hilarious!

Favourite snooker moment has to be ronnies black in the middle pocket from the green spot, played at great pace under great pressure, 5-5 and had to clear the table to win the frame, pure break building and pitting perfection

Great video. Favourite snooker moment was Ronnie stopping the game after one red and black to ask about the maximum break prize on offer. Then going on to get the 147, with a bit of encouragement from the ref, with Ronnie initially not wanting to complete the break with only the black remaining.

A trick to help stepping into the shot is laying the cue on the rail in the line of your shot, and then take the final step in and get down. So your forming your body around the proper cue line.

My favourite moment was during a match with Michaela Tabb refereeing and the late great Terry Griffiths on commentary. The player went off the blue into the pack and as Michaela was leaning over the table to respot the blue Griff on commentary says "Aaaaw! Beautiful split!". I shouted out "Wahay" and laughed my head off. (Yes, I know, I am a very vulgar and childish man but this is a true story 😊)

The best snooker moment for me has got to be Gary Wilson snookering Judd Trump, cue ball behind the black and yellow behind the brown, at the World Championships in May 2019. I haven't watched many matches, but I always remember that shot. The next day, I picked up a cue for the first time and went down to the snooker club.

Your stanse was better at 3m 8s than after he started tweakin.... this is the route to most problems in getting coached, if it aint "too broke", don't fix it. You potted, and found your line, but then got coached and didnt really pot that well at first. Very common until getting used to the changes, but stand by my statement that your original posture wasnt bad. Main thing about this game is finding the line, staying on it. and NOT moving side to side or up and down when stroking. If you can master that and start seeing the lines, you could be fairly good :) Edit* one lesson ruins it, 2 lessons you start to see the point, 3 lessons, you start to see positive changes. Etc etc. So changes in cueaction takes time to get used to. Snooker is the finest margins when adjusting. Love the channel, subbed :)

Once you dialed in the place you want to hit the white, do your cue action, ignore the white and watch the object ball. See what happens, make changes. Most people are making changes as they hit the white, and you have to avoid that. Repeat x 1.000.000 and you will be good 😊
