Those bowls and plates were so cute! Seeing the boys be so helpful gives me hope that my 4 young girls will be helpful one day and they won’t always be so little! They are starting to be helpful but are definitely still a handful.

So glad Mark didn't get hurt when he went into the ditch. So here on the peninsula we got dumped also! I remember when I was young (I'm 55) we lived in Ninilchik and every year there was this much snow, just over the years it got less and less...UNTIL NOW!!!, Awesome snow boarding boys! Loved the snowflakes ❄️ Have a safe time and have fun in all this snow.

WOW !! That snow is awesome !! I live in San Antonio Texas and we had a bad snow storm. People all across Texas without power. Thank God we have a wood burning 🔥 place. I can not imagine living in Alaska could be so cold. Bless you all. Stay safe and keep warm.

Snow can be fun if you don’t have to be any where. Does your electric stay on most of the time through the storms? Sometimes here in PA we get a heavy wet snow or ice and we lose electricity. Then all you hear are generators. 😂

I loved it when Mark how quiet it was with the snow…I always think the same thing. I love walking when it’s snowing…it’s just peaceful. I am in Southern Ontario and we are expecting 15-20 cm on Thursday, it’s going to be a very quiet day here.

I am in Northern Ontario and we are supposed to get 10 to 15 cm on Thursday and another 5 cm on Friday. Tomorrow could be very quiet. If there is a storm the city isn’t great about clearing roads.

Good Morning Hamm Family ❤️ I'm so glad Mark, and everyone else, wasn't harmed driving to work. "Safely" going into a ditch is better than the alternative. When I was up in NH, there was heavy snow, then ice, then snow to cover the ice. On my way home after a night shift I hit a patch of ice going around a curve, lost traction, did a complete 360, missing all obstacles and came to a rest 2 inches from a guardrail with a deep 10-15ft rocky ditch on the other side. Scary. Took me a few minutes to get my nerves back. A nice man ran out of his house in his robe and untied boots to make sure I was okay. Praise Yah nothing like that has ever happened again. We had blizzard in VA years ago. The following day, Mark was off from the FireHouse and Sheriff's Department, so we got in the 4WD SUV and drove around pulling people out of ditches and snow drifts. One year after an ice storm we lost power for 7 days, 9 hours and 42 minutes (yes, I remember). Thankfully we had a generator. Bry and I made hot cocoa, sandwiches and cookies to bring to the linemen and tree workers working to get the power lines fixed and trees cut back and removed from the road. The Heads of both services walked down to our house to let us know the power was back on, with a thank you card signed by the workers, some flowers and a toy for Bry. Awesome guys. I agree with Mark, the snow makes everything more beautiful: the silence, except for the gentle sound of snowflakes falling or the crackling of trees under the weight of snow, the fresh, crispness in the air, water flowing over ice... so beautiful. The boys amaze me with their talents: Hunter, Bennett and Weston snowboarding, Bennett's snowflakes, Everett's art project. Watching them help with clearing the deck and driveway of snow; helping around the house and with meals, giving Dad and Mom a helping hand in and around the house - absolute gentleman. Bennett is definitely Mark's son. Watching him goof around on the deck. Silly. I'm with Miss Luna, let's all find a cozy spot and take nap. Lauren, I was looking hard to see if my card was in that pile of cards... LoL... then the Mail Lady (Maggie's BFF and bringer of treats) came to the door with packages, a treat and one card... Yours... thank you so much. It has an honorary spot on the refrigerator. Y'all have a wonderful snow day or days. Yah's Blessings ❤️

We made Christmas 🎄 out of old phone books. Fold each page diagonally down ti the inside of seems so ot looks like a triangle on each page. Once done attach first and last page and spray paint.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

What an amazing sight all that snow. This is coming from someone that has never seen snow, it is on the bucket list. There has been snow in the alpine area of Australia in the past 24 hours. Snow in December in Australia is unheard of as we are in summer. Crazy weather. Glad Mark is ok after the ordeal going to work. The boys had so much fun on the snowboards, they are very talented.

Oh my this level of snow is only a dream for my kids here in the UK! If we lucky we sometimes get 1or 2 snow days a year and only 1 of them it will be suitable to play in!

Living in the South/Eastern side of Washington State for almost 30 years, I remember snow...but nothing like that!!! My goodness, that's so what I always thought of Alaska being like. I hope the County official's will use there head in making any decisions about school being in session & keeping the children & families safe, especially with no school busses running! It’s nice watching the boys being involved in other interests besides videos like most kids today. Unfortunately, I don’t know if this applies to any other followers, when my son was little we were going through tough times that called for my wife and myself to work a full time and part time jobs. So our time was limited being involved more with our son. Now he’s 20 and has severe anxiety, depression, and paranoia. Myself, I have neuropathy, a 12/30 back operation coming up, and the beginning of Parkinson’s.
