I just walked outside with a tape measure to see how much buildup we ended up with here in Fort Smith AR. It is 6:35am at time of writing and we are currently at just over 8.5 inches of snow. It’s still coming down at a decent clip so we might end up topping 10inches if it keeps going.

In the Upstate of SC (Gaffney) it's been in the 20's at night for a week. During the days... it's been struggling to get into the 40's. Anything that falls will stick because the ground is frozen solid. My well froze two days ago. I hope that I'm wrong, but this looks like it's going to be a ball buster.

Here in DFW we got screwed over in terms of snow 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ Backside snowfall doesn't look likely. These darn temperatures are to blame. Heck even areas that got 6 inches of snow north of DFW are now getting rain. 😞😕

It looks like we might actually get some snow in NW middle Tennessee, which is exciting! I've lost count of how many times we've been promised snow only to have it do a sneaky detour around us. I've become such a skeptic that I no longer rushed to the grocery store for the obligatory milk, bread, and eggs! 🤣 However, I did replenish a few supplies because I wanted all of the ingredients to make hot chocolate!!
