The comments unlocked a memory of when my sister was little and on holiday, she managed to get a hold on a whole grapefruit and used it as a stuffed toy to sleep with😂 It wasn't her first time getting a whole grapefruit, she just really liked it and it also really annoyed me so she just kept it. It did keep the mosquitoes away from her as well while my parents got eaten alive (I'm lucky that mosquitoes don't like me at all!)

I love bright citrus scents but grapefruit.... it's my least favorite. I think it's because I'm allergic to it and I associate it with bad memories. Lemongrass.though, amazing. Love it.

Also grapefruits aren't really pillow size, and I imagine they would be pretty squodgy, get juice in your eyes as you sleep. I'd wash in the juice and then condition VERY well
