Thank you for making this video. I'm hoping this is the solution. I have been looking for.

Let me know how it goes! I'm still using ManyRequests and it's been great.

I have been using manyrequets since last year and it has been the best tool for my business. I offer unlimited graphic design services as well as one off services. Many requests is great!

Thanks for sharing your experience! ManyRequests is the tool I didn’t think existed!

I heard ManyRequests haven't released anything major for the last year. Is this true? Have you heard/test Retainr IO designed for agencies too? or any other good alternative for agencies? Thank you for this video too! 🙂
@dave-swift3 ай бұрын
Yes, they did release a new version last year. It didn't really add the features I wanted to see, TBH. I gave them a lot of feedback via email, but they have chosen to go a different route than my suggestions. I haven't tried Retainer but thanks for letting me know it exists. Other options for agencies could include Blue & SuperOkay, both of which I made reviews on recently. There's a script on CC that looks very similar and has almost all the features.

Have you run into any downsides of support requests. One thought is a client could dump a whole bunch of requests in a single support request.
@dave-swift2 жыл бұрын
You can create requests for clients as well. When that happens, I break the request up into individual tasks. 👍

What happens if a client sends in a request but they've already reached their max allowed?
@Vinrob922 жыл бұрын
Founder of ManyRequests here! The request will still be submitted but they'll see a notice that they've reached their max number of requests and must contact your team to upgrade to a higher tier. In the future we will also add a setting to set a strict request limit where they won't be able to submit any further requests, so it will be up to you to choose.

Thanks for getting to this comment before I could! I'll add that you can also create tasks for your clients and you have the choice of making a free task, deducting one of their pre-paid tasks, or billing them separately. One thing I LOVE about ManyRequests that didn't make it into this video is that now I have one platform where you I invoice clients for ala carte work or one-off work, and it's the same platform as their subscription! This is a big usability win for customers. They are trained to always go to the same place for all of their needs.

Hey Rob, ManyRequests recently (like in the last couple weeks) shipped v2. I'm still using ManyRequests v1 and quite happy with it. Only complaints my clients have had in a year is that they want to be able to email to start a new request. I think that's pretty reasonable so I hope it's something the ManyRequests team adds.

Thanks for the response. I manage SEO as well as provide web maintenance/retainer that would entail odd jobs and not as cut and dry as most monthly tasks. Do you need to charge them in order to submit a task through this platform, or just an option? Also, did you find any friction from the clients wanting to use this opposed to just sending an email? I have a lot of clients who may not be as willing to use a new 'tool' Thoughts? @@dave-swift

Hey Rob, YT is so bad at alerting me of new replies. Sorry I missed this. You can submit tasks without charging people. You can also create one-off tasks if you have non-recurring services that you charge for. As for your other question, I have one client who refuses to use the system and just emails. As long as the ticket is created in the system first, you can reply via email, but I really hope they prioritize adding this feature.
