Congrats on the new adventure!! If you ship on your own on depop, you forgo seller protections. It is on you to solve any issues with buyer. I use my own labels on there because I primarily sell jeans, blazers, and outerwear and their 2# label is crazy expensive for ground advantage.

I really enjoy watching your videos, Becky. You are thorough about your what sold videos-where you got items, how much you had into them, and what they sold for leading to your profit-that some other resellers don’t have. I feel like I have a similar humor style, so when I’m doing dishes, doing housework or doing reselling *stuff*, I find myself responding out loud to your videos. (Like “Really?! That sold for you?! @@bargainswithjoy to be honest, I don’t find or sell this brand very often! But if it’s Aztec print, I’d also use “southwestern.” Also, make sure to relist it if it’s a little stale!

Congrats on the new venture! Not all Denim & Supply does well but that Lauren line does have some reseller gold. Depop's platform and shoppers I really like, dealing with CS... Its so inept I'm starting to think its deliberate. That being said, I had a similar situation on Depop with a bad address, which was the reason i began migrating to Depop shipping. What I did was, I told the customer as soon as the package arrived back that I would issue her refund minus shipping. If you have a similar situation, you might want to handle the return yourself. Don't let the pigeons drive the bus:)

I decided to no longer sell on Depop. I’m on holiday right now and I didn’t realize that they only allow 7 days vacation. So I would’ve needed to go in every week to update my vacation for the entire month. I ended up just deleting every item I had on there.

i never offer free shipping on mercari or depop, and i made a ton of sales on both platforms! when I switched from free shipping my sales did not go down!

Ugg, I hate aggressive comments from people biding on items. I had a lady put like 5 items in her cart and messaged me "I'm only willing to pay $5/item, because they are used." The total was well over $100, like girl, get gone! You're broke, I'm broke, we're all broke! lol

I always use Mercari shipping just for the protection. I mixed up 2 labels which meant the buyers received incorrect items but since I used Mercari labels I still got paid and buyers had the option to keep and still get a refund or send back and get a refund.

Some people are very rude. I also sell on poshmark and someone left me a comment saying, why are you selling it for that price where you can buy it for cheaper elsewhere. Annoying rude people loosing time writing not minding their own business 😏
