You obvoisly have no idea how many girls in metal are able to do such vocals (there are more than only a few ...) but Tatiana ist clearly one of the (if not THE) best female growlers/screamers in the industry. All hail queen Tati and her amazing boys of Jinjer !
@mr.teacherguy4 жыл бұрын
Don't get me wrong I love Tatiana but the Queen of metal might have to be a shared title between Tatitana (harder) and Floor Jensen of Nightwish (melodic/operatic). Personally i think these two would co rule a stage beautifully.

@@torsten.breswald like I said they have very different vocal styles 😆. But ya having seen nightwish a ton of times and even a few secret shows I can say from experience it's really hard to miss the raw power of any of the singers Nightwish has had having seen all 3 versions if you will. Also opera +metal who would have know it would work. Toumas did in his crazy Finnish mind lol.

This song is atypical for Jinjer, one of their softest. This band's power (apart from Tatiana's unique voice) is their ability to merge a lot of influences into metal. They do jazz, reagge, pop, hip hop, anything merged into hardcore or deathmetal... always surprising and always good. Not only Tatiana is good, the rest of the band are really talented, specially for me Vlad (drummer) and Eugene (bassist) are real monsters with their instruments... My recommendations: - Judgement and Punishment: (they have the official video and a live vocal one take performance... both good) (really good fusion song) - Perennial live at Wacken 2019: (Gwenn Stefanie vibes, at least for me). It's impressive to see them live in concert. - Who is gonna be the one (live, Napalm records): The lowest growls out there... she does it lower than most of the guys. - Teacher, Teacher (official video): Metal/hip hop anyone? - Pit of Conciousness (either live or official video): Great time signature changes - Retrospection (official video): Part of the song sang in Russian (they're from Ukraine). Great nostalgia component - No hoard of value (lyrics video): One of their old songs... powerful message and incredible breakdown I hope you check some of these... I subscribed to your channel... wouldn't miss you hurling into the rabbit hole of Jinjer... it'll be a ride. Get ready!

Ahahahahaha, first off, loved your guys reaction. Second off, you've just witnessed in my humble opinion the best female metal vocalist/growler out there right now, and I'm willing to say ever, period. I've been a metal head for over 40 years, and Tatiana is the best female metal singer/ growler I have ever heard. Sure there were multiple female vocalist who have done this type of thing, but what sets Tati apart in my opinion is she's such a phenomenal "clean" voacalist as well, she could easily sing many different genres of music if she wanted to. She actually said that if she wasn't a heavy metal voacalist, she would love to be a jazz vocalist, and she could easily pull that off. Now let's get into the rest of the band, they are all phenomenal, Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums) are out of this world talented, and they are all a finely tuned machine. Tatiana gets alot of the attention, and rightfully so, but make no mistake, Jinjer is a complete phenomenal band. If you guys choose to react to more Jinjer, you will not be disappointed, each one of their songs are different and unique, and each one of them are fantastic. Peace and stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

This is all about the duality of people born under the Pisces zodiac sign, as the singer is, so the sudden switch between extremes is intentional. Their other songs are generally heavier, but most of them have some soft parts mixed in. Who's Gonna Be The One and Perennial at Wacken 2019 are two great live performances, while Teacher Teacher is another great studio recording.

They’ve been around since 2009, though Tatiana has been the vocalist since 2010 I think. She’s self-trained, drinks, smokes, and doesn’t warm up. One of her influences is Otep, which you can definitely hear. They won Best Ukrainian Metal Band in 2013 and 2016. You can really hear a lot of their influences, but they’ve taken the pieces and put them back together in a way that is just next level, especially with the talent they each have just individually. I compared them to Tool, not so much in sound, but their unique versatility and the fact that they’ve never made a bad song 😊 They do whatever the hell they want to and they excel at it.

@XRevMaynardX4 жыл бұрын
Okay...I know the internet lyrics say it’s “Scale armor blaze virgin innocence” but I am certain that is incorrect. The true lyric is “Scale armor BELIES virgin innocence”. The word belie means to contradict or to disguise. So the true meaning of that lyric is that she has this harsh, protective exterior that hides her true innocent/loving inner self. So perhaps all of the tatts and dreds and piercings and screaming are the armor that belie her true nature. Whatever she means by it, she is a freaking amazing lyricist and English is not even her native language. AMAZING!

Perennial live at Wacken and Who Is Gonna Be The One official live are also popular next steps. This is their most viewed video by a long shot, and the irony is it was originally filmed to showcase their new drummer but it blew up mostly because of Tatiana's vocals despite the fact that she had already been in the band doing this for 7 years at this point. This was never meant to be a special video, the band didn't think it was going to have much success, they considered it the weakest song on the album yet it went viral for reasons that were completely unintentional. I feel bad for Vlad actually, this was his debut in the band, the first recording he ever did with them, this was him coming in guns blazing, but he got completely drowned out by Tatiana who was not trying to impress anybody, just there doing her thing. In actuality though, Vlad is a really good drummer, but that's more obvious in the subsequent music he wrote after this. This song was already released on the album before he joined, this version features his take on the drums. They sound a lot better than the original drums but there's only so much he can do to make it his own when the song is already written.
