One of my favorite bands is the Eagles. Their songs have always captivated me with not only the voices of Don Henley and Glen Frey but the lyrics. Edger Allan Poe never even wrote a poem as haunting and unforgettable as “Hotel California.” Some of their songs are so poignant, if you just read the lyrics you’ll be astonished by how thought provoking and meaningful they are. These things along with the terrific musicians playing their instruments as only they can make “The Eagles” one of my favorites. Rest in Peace Mr. Frey.

I always wanted to see them live but had to work. I had one of those jobs that I couldn't get away from and a person has to eat and have a roof over their head. KZbin has made it possible to see the Eagles and remember the songs that gave me food for thought and that peaceful easy feeling.

So sorry you couldnt see them live. They were fantastic in concert. I was privileged to see them during the Hotel California tour. Tickets $13.50 festival seating (nobody sat) Eddy Money and Steve Miller opened for them. What a memory at the one and only concert to be held at Riverfront Stadium.

Glen Frye was one of the greatest singers , songwriters , and entertainers ever !! The Eagles could never be the same !! I was blessed to see them in concert in Charlotte NC in 1994 !! They were awesome !! One of the highlights of my life !! I love this song !! Rest in Peace !! I cried for days when you left us !! I miss you soooo muchhhhh !! I still cry when I hear The Eagles , or see a video !! I am 68 years old and I remember when The Eagles first came out !! I was in High School !! Amazing !!

My heart shattered to pieces when I heard Glenn Frey had passed away. I knew I would miss him forever. But I also thanked God for taking Glenn away from all of his suffering. So thank you God for the blessing of such a talented man who's made our lives happier. Glenn's guitar, voice and lyrics were and still are so soothing and take me back to a simpler time without all of the anger and hurt we have today. RIP Glenn.

I was privaledged to see "them" (Glen Frey)@ the time of "The Long Run" tour in Gulfport. I somehow was *passed* though, to visit with the very respectful and thoughtful men that they were... I see his young face in that circle where ,I was in the presence of plain spoken men of high truth as when I was in the room of rest ... of greatness ,*IT* was a simple sample of the Beautiful people that as to the experience w/ them was a pleasant moment for a young trusting ,somewhat niieve young lady I was ...I was searching for myself . I BElive I saw something in the persons I was made-line comfortable there. I think I found something I hadn't had in me before. . I was gifted with an Airbrushed baseball shirt , "just because" they/he,he,he,he... in the greatness they had already achieved, I didn't even really know how I would cherish that moment cross legged on the carpet floor, in the circle of the talented and blessed, momentary friends that trusted me to join their rest after the stretch of the encore at , the concert I felt the Eagles of the 80's played om just for ME ! I am one of the whooooo? was going to make *IT* in the *Long Run* . They/ Glen Frey and all that we've lost in the marathon of our experiences , we are grateful for the Gift of telling our Life what to Live for, as they played the memories in our hearts' songs we were always tuning into for thier intitutive !
