in the 90ies this eurodance music wasn't available in the USA, Europe went its own way when it came to music , people were listening to hosue music, dance what wa slater called eurodance. In the US it was all pop music and hiphop was coming up.

Maybe a few people in US know these songs but it wasn't on American mtv. mayority of Americans are now discovering eurodance through Yt, I think it could be regional that you actually got to hear some eurodance in your childhood while the rest of the US has never heard of this music genre before or knows the groups

If you're putting stock in charts that means there were literally only 10 more famous songs at the time. Saying Americans "had no access to it" is fucking absurd. This song has been played constantly in restaurants, malls, etc. for 30 years. Not to even mention being heavily featured on SNL and Night at the Roxbury. You either live under a rock if you were born in 85 or are a young person trying to sound knowledgeable about something you have no idea about.
