I don't know how people can be so cruel. My grandson was born 50% deaf, they couldn't do much for him, as he had no ear canal. He has an operation when he was about 5yr old, to remove the little bit of ear he had. He know has a prosthetic ear, he doesn't hardly use it. I met him on the bus one day as his mum was working. We were sorting his bank account out, for his wages to go in. His first job after leaving school. I couldn't sit next to him as there was someone sitting there, so I sat further back. There was this couple sitting behind me, the woman was complaining about that boy down there should stand up. I knew that she was on about my grandson, so I turned around and asked her if she was on about him. She said yes, if she did I absolutely lost it. I said that boy has health problems. She said it doesn't look like to me, do you know him. I said he's my grandson and he's 50% deaf, if you'd care to look before mouthing off. I was swearing at her and she asked her husband to intervene. I told her that he has balance problems so he can't stand up. He might look well, but looks are deceiving, don't take that attitude. She said there's an old man standing up,he should give his seat up. I said carry on love and I'll shut you up, why don't you give your seat up as you've got so much to say. I told her that you should thank your lucky stars that you're not disabled. Luckily my grandson didn't hear a thing, when we met his mother after she finished work, she was livid. My grandson don't let his disability get him down, he's worked since the week after he left school. He's 22 now and I'm immensely proud of him. On his day off from work he comes to visit me, every 2weeks. If I need anything from town he'll get it for me. I'm glad that you won't let anyone make fun of you and your friend. Ask god to find you someone jo jo. I asked god to find someone for me and I met her 2 weeks before Christmas and I love her with all my heart. We are both Christian people and the one woman I was looking for. Just believe in your heart and let your heart guide your love not your thoughts. That's how my beautiful angel came into my life, and it does feel like home. My angel just lost her mom of a stroke, and god took her home fast. I feel the hurt she feels. That's how much I love her.
