This is one of my favorite performances of Dimash. It was so visceral, so real, and you can tell he is feeling and expressing all the raw emotion. Every day I thank God I found him, he brings healing vibrations through all of his music that actively works on built up stress, at least that’s what he’s done for me.

This is about an cable car accident that happened in China, the orphan was adopted by the songwriter. You may want to look on the G Wu channel for the Singer performance of this. Di woke up on the day of the contest with absolutely no voice at all.

At his first concert in Bastau: This song tells the sad story of a Chinese boy (Quon Yan), who along with his family, suffered a cable car accident in Xingyi city in Guizhou province, where 52 people died, but the boy's parents held him up with their hands and he survived, though the parents died. The song was written and composed by the boy's adoptive mother (Han Hong) and Dimash sang the song for the first time in Mandarin on “The Singer 2017”, but he had a sore throat and sang through injections. The doctor said that if he sang high notes, he would never sing again... He sang! Then he made this wonderful version, already cured, at his show in Bastau!

Emotions overflow, Dimash's voice never ceases to amaze, with each listen new facets, colors, modulations open up, I can't put it into words. Simply great! 👍👍👍

Dimash is very empathetic, he immerses himself in the story he is telling. It would be the worst thing for him to lose his parents, so he totally gets into character, understands his pain and passes it on to us. Thanks ! (his sweater with only one shoulder, I want it!) The great class:)

It is always unfortunate when youtube reactors (through no fault of their own) don't know the backstory of this song before reacting to it. Not knowing that story takes away at least half of the emotional impact. It has always frustrated me that whoever it is that posted this video to Dimash's channel didn't provide a short note at the beginning of the video, as Gloria Wu did on her channel with the posting of the version Dimash did in China.

This is not about his mom and dad. But you really can think that becouse of how he sings. But here you have the video from The singer that explains moore about the song and also how he sounded when he lost his voice the day before. It really helpt the song in a way. Episode 8 : 'Daybreak' (Tiān liàng le- Han Hong original artist and writing it!) In Chinese! This is the one reaction I think you should do from 2 different versions do to following... Gloria Wu's channel has the back-story about the song that is so sad and from a life story about a boy losing his parents in an awful way. Also you get to hear how Dimash sounds like then loosing his voice the day of the show!!! When he went on he didn’t know if he could sing. Looking close at the other contestants they where so worried about him. He lost his voice again after. Li Jian another contestant bought him a very very expensive Chinese medication for him so he could get better soon! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4mqd2qsnKqMgc0

Dimash was 10 when he first heard this song. He was so shocked that he was shaking all over. That's what he said about that song. A young couple and their child climbed into a cable car which contained 3 times more people than was authorized... At the last moment, before the cabin was unhooked, the father managed to pass his child to a rescuer. The singer who created this song adopted the child, a great lady of heart. You should go listen to his version, it's very moving too

👉 After returning from the Singer competition (2017, China), the Kazakh government was so impressed with Dimash's success that they sponsored Dimash's first solo concert entitled BASTAU. In preparation for the concert, Dimash worked so hard that he lost a lot of weight. His family was very concerned. Here, Dimash sang “Daybreak”. This song based on a true tragic story and is very well known in China. In 1999 14 people died in a cable car accident in China. The parents of a little boy lifted their son to safety, and they themselves died. Original singer and songwriter Han Hong later adopted the child. Dimash sings with so much pain in his voice it literally tears him apart ... and I can't stop crying. - First performance “Daybreak” with behind the szenes and background story (Singer 2017)- kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4mqd2qsnKqMgc0 - Original singer, Han Hong: Daybreak - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJ7XY4V9fceAo6c
