Franco Mastantuonois is being chased by Real also said he wants to play for Real, plus his 45M Release clause just went up to 50M and River Plate say he isn't going for less .. For that kind of monies I would much rather buy NICO WILLIAMS from Bilbao, he is in a more competitive league and his record this season is good, he has 7 Goals and 16 Assists in all comps. he is 21 years old, also plays both sides and ranks 2nd in la Liga for assists this season at the moment .. As of Dec 2023 he has €50M realese ckuase !!!!

At 16 yrs old, Mastantuonois likely won't get into Real's first XI any time soon. He'd be on the fringes for a few years as understudy to the evergreen Modric and yet, be expected to grow into the 1st team and excel and the Madristas are a fickle audience. While Real have invested well in youth in recent years, it is impractical to play all kids from 1-11, you need that balance between youth and experience. Again, we can see example of this in Madrid. As many kids are in the Real squad, there's also Modric, Kroos, Rudiger, Alaba etc.

Theres a reason though (obviously not the only reason) that a lot of South Americans go to Spain/Portugal, and thats simply the language - it is a lot easier to settle for the players AND their family. If you cant promise a lot of game time like Brighton then theres so little point in coming to England (not just United). Thats not something a scout can change!
