I personally bought the exact same suit from him and wanted to clarify something. He actually went out and looked for the metallic fabric because I requested it and then he decided to use it on all future NWH suits. That's why one of them doesn't have metallic fabric. The wait time was very long, much longer than it should've been, but he was responsive for most of the process, it was mainly around the end when he started becoming less responsive. He does get the suits out though, so at least it's not a scam. My suit did fit, just a little tight.

I personally have gotten my 2 Spidey cosplays from AliExpress for really great prices, and haven't ran into something disastrous like you demonstrated in your video. Are they the most high quality suits you could get? Eh, not really. Are they really cool and have the capacity to be better with puff paint? Definitely. It's what I did with my TASM 2 suit, and it's what I'm doing with my Spider-Man 3 Black Suit.

Dude just sew it yourself! That’s what I do! I make my own pattern by wrapping myself fully in duct tape and plastic wrap. then follow all the seams that are on the suit and then I do a clear silicone calk mixed with acrylic paint to make super stretchy stretch paint and then ghetto screen print it onto the fabric. I also use things like plasti dip and flex seal to rubberize the soles of my suits too. You can even do muscle shading with a sharpie or other alcohol markers or if you’re flush with cash you can get an air brush. It’s honestly a lot easier than you’d think and by using different fabrics and threads you can really get the best looking suit possible. Just some advice. If you haven’t tried making your own I recommend doing it from scratch because you can get richer colors and seams exactly where you want them and you can really get into details that people miss when mass producing or even puff painting. Like the RPC Studio is the Bane of my existence I think their painted suits look cheap.

Thank you for your advice, I took had an experience with a costume scam a friend of mine in 2013 bought me a movie grade replica man of steel suit from eBay 2 years later I get a spandex piece of crap I never got the suit I wanted and she paid $350 for it for me with my measurements she passed away 3 years ago but now I have no way to get it and I really liked the suit so I completely understand where you are coming from

Honestly this is the exact issues I'm getting from Aaron Alexandro/Suit Up! I ordered the TASM1 and TASM2 suit and the TASM2 suit took a year and a half and the gluing was also haphazard and the webshooters were packed without the paint being fully cured so the finish was ruined. I'm STILL waiting on my TASM1 suit and it's been already been over 2 years. Both suits were upwards of $800-$1500USD. If you order from them (which tbh I can't recommend), you would be better off only ordering the fabric to sew yourself. What hurts the most is that McClean's brother gave them the pattern rights to use promising to make a donation to pancreatic cancer research so I paid the premium in McClean's honor but they only said they "couldn't find a charity" and dropped it. I'm nervous to ask for a refund because I know they're going to ignore the request for as long as possible but we'll see what happens

Back in August I spent a lot for a ps5 Spider-Man advanced suit from Aaron/suit up. Since August They’re very vague with their communication hardly ever providing updates unless I ask. I asked them 3 times for an update and each time they’ve said that they had just finished printing and were getting started on sewing it. Now that it’s January and I have been hearing the same thing over and over again from them since August, I fear that I might be getting taken advantage of by them. What should I do about this?

Definitely keep writing to them. I had a similar experience with suitup. I ordered a faceshell and had to wait almost a year to get it....... Faceshell is amazing, but the year wait time definitely made me think about if i would order from them again

Sup. I was the guy who made that fb post. I made the down payment for the Tasm 2 suit on aug 16 and I paid for the other half Nov 22. Literally everything that’s happened to your friend has happened to me. I figured I could try to get a refund after why horror stories people were telling me and it wasn’t until then then he actually responded to me. He’s bound to ship anytime soon apparently. To make up for it, he’s throwing a shirt for taking so long. As optimistic as I may be, this doesn’t seem worth it at all, no matter how great it might look. TBH I’m kind of tempted to forget about it and let it be. Move on to somebody else. It’s been 5 months and I have no idea when I’ll get the costume, but even if I got it, I feel like there would be a big chance that it won’t end up fitting me. I went up 15 pounds since August. This couldn’t have come at a better time. I respect your approach. I’m subscribed now. 👍🏼

I was looking forward to getting one of their suits and charged me a ridiculous amount of money to start and then said it was going to be more when completed stating that their suit are high in demand and that they tell you every step process as comforting as that sounds then he started getting eager for my money the more I asked and getting the sizing right and what material he was using so I know how much their putting into it and he got completely offended saying am I playing game or something that he was insulted and said his suits were in demand cause of the quality of his product and the same pics you posted in the video were the same pics he sent me of a current order he’s “working on” I called him a scam artist and said I’m looking for American makers. Pro Tip: use the international metric system whenever you’re making or buying a suit, that way there will literally be no mess ups and misunderstandings. OR, if you don’t want to, then don’t order from a different country where metrics could be different.

It's the responsibility of the maker to convert them if that's what he is used to using, if not he should have requested them in his most comfortable measurement. If i'm already paying someone an exuberant amount of money to make me something, ill gladly do what I can to help, but this suggestion seemed a bit excessive.
