@collinsnnadozie5092 so certain tourneys/events put an additional restrictions where only certain factions can be used for a specific event. This spider tournament was during the Asgard Divide Event where the 4 Asgard gods were added to Barbarians. So with this event you had to use a team of only Barbarians to get pts toward it.

Yeah I ended up doing a speed farm with thor, xena, and farahkin on stage 10 since stage 20 was taking way too long. The bugged drop rates made it go very quickly and it was pretty efficient like you mentioned. Easily got the top reward

Yakarl is even better, spider never takes a turn. I´m doing stage 2 hard with High Kathun for speed, Valk, Archerqueen, Warmaiden and Yakarl.

I had the same problem with Loki as his turn meter reduction would be useful for spider, but he never went against the boss. My spider 20 team was Thor (lead), Scyl, Valkyrie, Fahrakin and Soulbound Bowyer.

That's a nice team. I actually think Loki kind of slows you down in a full team. Soulbond, on the other hand, should speed you up in both normal and hard modes.

Sure. Cursed set is always an option for any champion with an AoE A1, or just multiple AoEs. I don't think it's the optimal build for Arix, but if you need Hex for Hydra or waves, I could see Arix fulfilling that role, absolutely.

I don't have thor built so I went for the easy overnight option on this event on level 20. Armanz yakarl 2x fat man and siskia. Originally I went with siskia's sister alika but it was faster with siskia as she has a weaken and a 6 star blessing. My yakarl is in pretty good gear and is in my hard 10 fk team. One of my fat man was in my stage 6 fk team is well built for damage. My second fat man is built to solo scarab in some cursed city content with no damage and high resistance high accuracy. Siskia has 6 star blessing and even though she is support, at 6 star she does damage and has a weaken to help my yakarl and damage fat man! My armanz is 360 speed and 600 accuracy...spiders never get a turn lol. .so I just muscled spider 20...run was 2 and a half minutes. Done over night easy beat.

Yeah, that works. Obviously stage 20 is the most energy efficient, and you get really good silver there as well. So the overnight option is a smart one. Well done!👍

I skipped the tournament because stage 20 was too difficult and I don't have the food to get Thor to 60. Since I got my 4* soul today I don't need the points of the Spider tournament so I won't even try and start saving my energy potions for the next fusion.

I was originally going for the 5 stars and I've skipped only DD so far but I'm afraid of burning all my resources just to come short at the end. This restriction for spider is discouraging. But my hope is the skippable next fusion of the leak some cc's are talking about come happens. So I'll keep it going. I don't have a single 5stars soul on my entire 14 months f2p account. This is an opportunity I want to try. But it will drain all my ressources😢 I really really hope this was a turn attack tournament😂. Plarium is not dumm

I wanted Thor, did his fusion, also wanted Freyja, but decided to go for Odin and failed so I don't get either. Now, I simply want the 5 star Thor and will skip 1-2 fusion to restock on resources. I'm F2P too.

The upcoming deck of fate will probably have some hammer points and I'm planning to skip. I think the deck of fate event will be the thing that kills my 5-star chances. It's probably not going to include Freya, so I can't afford to spend the shards. Unless I can do it all with champ training, which I doubt. Ah well, the 4-star soul will have to be enough.

Ill go hard on champ tranning. Hope i'll be lucky. Plus the upcoming fusion is a skip for me so i can summon some shard. I really wish they could make a calender for the titan events so that we can prepare in advance

used yakarl on 10 with 4 food. leveled my thor to 50 along with loki and some rando uncommon barbs. terrible tournament, not worth going to 2750 for a sacred imo.

Yakarl is a great option. I actually put together a F2P team of High Khatun, Thor, Yakarl, Loki, and Scyl for stage 20. Didn't show it in the video, because I wanted to keep it short. I think it cleared the stage in about 2 minutes, so not too bad. I definitely like Yakarl. One of the top free champs in the game, for sure.

Heh, fair enough. I guess I meant easy in the relative sense. I saw a lot of CCs complaining about this tournament because it's not a Turn Attack tourney like the rest we've seen. And while I'm all for calling out Plarium when they deserve it, I actually think this Barbarian only tourney is at least as easy as a turn attack one would have been.

Yeah, after 3.5 years of F2P life, my account probably looks decently whale-ish. All free though. And if you're farming HM spider with a solo champ, it is going to take good gear. Honestly, I need better gear than what I've got on him, so I can farm stage 9. I currently max out at 5.
