It's wild to see a team like this show up at a legitimate regional, believe it or not I managed to get 1500+ on the showdown ladder with a Dunsparce team last month. Used eviolite Dunsparce with Rock Slide Glare Agility Roost as a moveset and it's so tanky and so disruptive. Glad I'm not the only mad scientist out there lol

QOTD: Ledian. Ledian is terrible, but they gave away the one thing it can almost do by making a better dual screens ladybeetle in Orbeetle. Give it an evolution that gives it its own niche and differentiates the two.

QOTD: Every Pokemon that has no evolution, not including Legendaries, Ultra Beasts, Paradox and Mythicals. Why? Because in Gen IV they asked the question as to why every Pokemon can evolve except Legendaries, and everyone I knew pointed out that there are so many Pokemon that aren't Legendaries that have no evolution or even a pre-evolution. Pokemon are based off of animals and objects of our world which are known to have evolved and adapted over time. Meanwhile other Pokemon are based off of myths and legends of our world, which are super natural.

These are possibly 2 of my favourite Pokemon, which should be no surprise because while I don't know how high Dudunsparce ranks other than possible top 50, Squawkabilly IS the second best Pokemon of all time next to Chatot. 1:24 QOTD: Gonna cheat a bit here and say that Squawkabilly and Chatot should have some sort of joint evolution in some form (A fusion evolution, or maybe something like Karrablast and Shelmet where they each become more like each other) since they're the best 2 Pokemon, they're both parrots with somewhat musical theming, and they have low enough BSTs for an evolution to be balanced. I'm surprised Scarfabilly is the option when you want to use multiple Status moves

Orbeetle didn't see much competitive play, but it didn't feel designed to be underpowered like earlier gen bugs. It has decent bulk and speed, a good movepool, and an interesting Gmax move. I remember there being some legitimate discussion on Orbeetle usage early in the life of SwSh. Spidops, on the other hand, has been a joke from day one because of how blatantly underpowered it is.

A pokemon i think should get an evolution is Sawsbuck. If he had better stats he would be pretty usefull because of being the only pokemon to have serene grace and know bullet seed, making his presumable evolution a really good kings rock user.
