Yeah one of this game's worst problems is the layers upon layers of RNG associated with the crafting system. Let's hope the crafting rework doesn't screw it up.

I gotta say, although it is a bit redundant, i prefer smite as a hex, with a purgatus staff and a force sword. Perfect for holding down hords and setting enemies up to be eliminated by your teammates. However, this build isnt the best at defeating elites/bosses/ranged units. Works best with a zealot/ogryn and a veteran specialized in ranged warfare.

It's good to want to support your team, although you do need contingency planning for when they go down. Right now the servers would frequently ignore or even roll back your commands, and there's also the silent enemy glitch that can instantly take out an otherwise good player. Just make sure you can deal enough damage if you do end up having to clutch!

sometimes disrupt destiny seens to give you only the speed and not the buff itself, i don't know if this is a UI bug or the keystone just doesnt work for some reason.

Yep Ive noticed this a lot too lately with buffs like zealot scourge not stacking even when Ive definitely got bleed built up. Im pretty sure its just ui tho

I think it’s a UI bug. I still seem to do increased damage and I just recently accomplished the penance which requires you to be at 15 stacks for X amount of time.

There is a known UI bug from the Path of Redemption update that rendered buffs not being shown. Supposedly, you still get the benefits. And yes, they neglected to fix this with this big update. Or the hotfix after that.

Did they buff it? Yeah this build is pretty bonkers. 800k+ dmg in a normal auric damn. That was 350k more than the guy with second most damage haha. Glad to see this build! haven't used voidstrike in a loong time because it just felt weaker compared to the other staffs. Really love you put in Destiny, thats what adds the lack of damage I felt from my previous build. Main thing I noticed is it's veery easy ti blow yourself up with peril ^^ very well rounded build I must say. I liked the smash button too ofc

Thanks for the support! Yeah they added 5% crit chance to Surge. Now the build has: 7.5% base crit chance for Psykers + 5% weapon perk + 5% crit chance node + 5% from Surge = 22.5% passive crit chance. Potential 20% from Warp Nexus = 42.5% crit chance!

@@xstreamdray So far it's been some very nice content with interesting builds! Yeah I noticed last night! Guess I didn't read patch notes well enough. Shesh that's actually alot of crit chance :o you think it's worth it to play the 5% crit instead of 10% CDR?

Personally I don't think so. 5% crit is good, but not better than 10% more Ults good. Taking the crit aura also means no more One With The Warp, so it's a huge sacrifice.

Warp Flurry could work out better for you if you just backline all day. Although now that Surge has 5% extra crit.. Hard to give that up!

Im running an identical build but I have the shield, I prefer its safety, also running flame on crit for the staff since you can get guaranteed crits

No idea honestly, 3 stacks isnt too much damage, I can swap to smite to get wildfire so it MIGHT be a bit useful, otherwise I just like burning heretics

How do you have your weapon hot keys set up? You're very fluid at moving through your weapons depending on the need of the moment. Very fast.
