I'd recommend the Jarvis bamboo standing desk, I've been using mine for years. It has hydraulic lifts and is affordable.

I would say it’s a luxury, not affordable. As of September 2019, Bamboo Jarvis is $575 on Amazon 😳

So moral of the story is to buy a spring or gas-spring loaded sit-stand desk? I just bought a VARIDESK at work since my PT suggested it, it's okay but I wish I could adjust the keyboard tray height because it's a few degrees too low and I think causes some strain :(

Hello, following for a while. I manage TMJ, neck and lower back trouble. I paint standing, sitting and laying down is difficult. I'm in between chiropractors, what to do when a person cant find a standing workstation that's also apartment mgmt compliant. Always something. Do you have recommendations for a standing workstation. The one featured is too nice to land up covered in paint. Thank you.

Hi Brad and Bob, I hope you can help me - 3 months ago I fell sideways down a flight of stairs landing on my shoulder onto the wall below, broke my collarbone which was nothing compared to the pain I had in the thoracic region of my back which was made worse by any sideways pressure or movement. Given I had no red flags I was given the all clear with just X-rays and told “soft tissue injury”. I was mobile within a few hours and the intensity of pain has diminished but the pain keeps returning which is really disheartening and limiting. Any advice, and is this is within the normal parameters of recovery? Thank you.

Shouldn't you also put 1 foot on a little step and alternate which foot you put on the step?

Next time can you demo with keyboard & mouse placement, standing and also sitting? I'm only 5'5 so the mouse for detailed graphics needs to be comfortable.

Kathy Anderson The proper height will vary from person to person, and you'll also want to adjust your chair so that everything matches according to your working environment. I would imagine you may need to raise the height of your chair so you might also want to think about a foot stool to keep your legs from dangling.

I just slaped a metal box under my monitor and some slices of wood glued to a board for my keyboard n mouse. If I didnt have the offcuts of wood to glue together for side blick legs id have used books. I used to. People must have more sense then money to pay over 70 bucks for a table like that.

You’re physical therapist right? Why are you then promoting a product that is, “bad for your back.” Wtf guys
@redemptusrenatus5336
@redemptusrenatus5336 5 жыл бұрын
Chris H. You have trouble listening. They aren't promoting the one that Bob is behind, because that is the one that hurt two ladies at his wife's work. The desk in front of Brad for $329.99 is the one that does not cause problems because it is made better. They are in no way promoting the cheaper/injury-inducing model from another company.
