Also, try keeping your back flush against a wall with your hands at your side. Slowly raise your arms as high as you can with the back of your hands against the wall, but do not allow you back or buttocks, or shoulders to lose contact from the wall. Hold for 3 seconds, do it five times consecutively for a great stretch! Also, try to walk with your shoulders back, chest out like you are imitating a soldier. It will do wonders for your form and muscle balance. These worked great for me. I hope this helps! (I learned these from a chiropractor and a doctor)

I have always just loved watching your videos, especially when you talk about spinal stenosis, which is what I have. I have learned so much and like so many others, your guidance, caring and experience have made a huge difference. BUT...the real reason I am writing is this: my father had this exact same disease. He was diagnosed in the early 1970's, and at the time they called it cerebellum dysfunction. We had to sell my mother's dream home, moved into a home half that size, and he had to stop working as a harbor pilot. But we all got through it together as family, until we lost him to a stroke in 1980. God bless you Bob as you travel this journey; your spirit is strong, your family is strong, your community is strong. We are and will continue to be out here, cheering for you!

Thanks Bob and Brad for the time sequences. This is a new concept but handy to revise once we've watched all video. Very helpful.

Please produce a short summary of your exercises at the end. The explanations are great first time around, but then i just want a quick reference when I go to do the exercises.that would be brilliant and very helpful.

This would be a very good idea. Have you followed up.

Sharon Mueller These men are very busy and they take time to provide free content so we can be pain free. It is not appropriate to ask them to do more. Perhaps a follower and/or commenter might volunteer.

Thank you for all these!! I sit at a computer all day at work. I recently had my bike repaired after 20+ years. I had a lot of pain along the back of my right leg when went to get on the bike and ride it. Just now when I did the hamstring stretch I could tell it was super tight. I thank you again for these exercises. I feel refreshed as I did some along with you.

I love you, Bob and Brad. I feel so appreciative of the exercise video you two put out. My vision is to stay as fit and as independent as I approach getting older.

How about the exercise that you get on the floor and then get up? Everyone should do this because there are so many elderly peeps who cannot do this.

This is great advice, and one way to incorporate many of these stretches daily is to do yoga! :)

I have to say this is my favourite of your intros! I’m a person that prefers to get to the point immediately! I love your videos and have been subbed for years, it’s so much more convincing to see people of my own age exercising rather than youngsters who naturally have no idea how my older body reacts!

Take a screenshot of each exercise here that captures the moment/stage you want, then put them all together in one of your editing software packages that usually come bundled with your computer, and print them off in the appropriate size

I did the shoulder blade crunch when shoulder pain happened,after a few crunches the pain went. I have had no pin relief for 3days. I would say I have 90 percent less pain after seeing these guys. Long may they continue to help us mortals.

"Lack of motion is almost always equivalent of pain". Wow. I live with chronic pain, have been debilitated by spinal and immune system disorders. Done a lot of good work with diet but have had a hard time getting back to movement. NO ONE of all the chiro and PT people I've seen has ever said this. How simple and helpful. Thank you!

I had neck pain last night, probably from watching TV with my head propped up on too many pillows. And this morning this video comes on directly. I didn't do a search and was only listening to a music channel before this on KZbin, so somehow it ended up in front of me. Thanks! Very helpful.
@atis9061 Жыл бұрын
During the pandemic, I had more time (of course) & I began these neck and shoulder exercises that you are presenting. I couldn't believe the difference! -& it even helps relieve anxiety and mild depression! Make sure you get a light therapy lamp during the winter months. Those also work very well for mild depression.
