Yea. Has been a bit annoying. I am all for being critical when it matters, but it was turned into complete blind hate rather than anything reasonable now.... There are parts to criticize, potential they wasted and all that as well, but there is plenty of good here as well.

I'm surprised the reputation system hasn't been talked about much until now because the developer's have mentioned multiple times that they built the game around the reputation system meaning the reputation system has to be really in depth otherwise this game wouldn't work. Most other games used reputation type systems as an after thought where as this game uses it as the base with everything else connected to it

I wonder if you can tackle one faction at a time. For example, get in really good with the Hutts and get all the vendor goods and any other perks. Then make up with the Pikes by running their missions. Then a tactic is how to progress through them to get all the best loot as cheap as possible. Not sure if I like this or not though, I think everything going in parallel helps with multiple playthroughs.

we’re just one week from launch and i couldn’t be more excited for this game. Sure, it might not be a 11/10 masterpiece that everybody seems to only accept nowadays, but it looks like a super immersive and interesting eperience that any star wars fan could fall for and for me, that’s definitely enought to be super stoked. Thank you guys so much for getting us info about the game and building up some excitement instead of the criticism everybody else has. I unfortunately didn’t watch the last few videos because i wanna discover the games systems by myself, but thank you for all the videos you have made about this game!! Great job of tag teaming the ins and outs of the reputation system in this game. I can only hope that you guys aren't shills for Massive and Ubisoft. I hope that what y'all are saying isn't fed to you by Ubisoft as "talking points" or that you had "access" that skews your actual opinion... We obviously can’t prove anything but everything we said is based off our own few hour hands on preview with the game. No one has ever provided us with talking points or told us to say anything or asked us to do anything. We are currently working on our full review of the game and we will share everything both good and bad. Some people won’t believe us, but we are nothing but honest with how we feel about things. We are excited about what this game can be and we hope we are right. If not, then we will acknowledge that and keep on moving forward.

Definitely the main effects are on “loot” but there are missions where you get to pick the outcome based on a rep choice.

I’m 99% sure massive has said that you can’t be in Max positive rep with all syndicates at the same time, it was only 1 at the time, but you can get all 4 outfits for kay form the syndicates. The reputation system is “living” and you wil never be locked away form anything all you need to do is to Come back later with a better hutt reputation to get to that area, or a High crimson dawn rep, to go there etc. The reputation system will not change any major story plot of the game only some minor stuff like you talk about in this video
