I was 10 when The Phantom Menace came out. I remember walking into Walmart and seeing the toys. I must have bought 15 that day. I was ecstatic. That was the first time I had been really excited and happy in about a year. My dad was a Federal Agent, and he was killed in a helicopter crash the summer before. I read the Episode 1 graphic novel on the way to a memorial service. Star Wars helped me get through a tough time. Thanks George Lucas!

Damn, seeing the packaged episode 2 line really hits the nostalgia hard!! That was the first star wars film I ever saw and that figure line in those packages was just outstanding! Playsets and vehicles were all amazing and fresh as well (the jedi Starfighter was a personal favourite)
