So I didn't think the Strand Warlock could get any better. Well I was wrong, and here's why you need to use this Build.
The Suspend debuff does what you see on screen right now in normal content. It will suspend a target which is amazing for crowd control but won't even kill a red bar enemy in a normal lost sector.
But what if I told you we can add damage to the Suspend Explosion which would allow our Suspend Explosion to chain kill entire groups of enemies for us.
Well here we are in the legendary campaign where were locked 15 power level under and just watch what happens with the Suspend debuff.
We turn it into these Suspend Explosions that just chain kill all these enemies for us one after the other. And we trigger it all by killing 1 enemy in a group and just sit back and watch the Green Fireworks happen!
I had no idea we can do some of these crazy things with the Suspend Explosions, like proc Ashes to Assets Mod on our helmet to give us a ton of super energy because the Suspend Explosion is killing all the enemies for us!
These chain explosion also proc the Firepower mod on our Gauntlets and generating a Orb of Power ever second as long as the Chain is happening
The explosions will also proc mods like Bolstering detonation and give us class ability on the explosions since it is a grenade that
is damaging the enemy for us.

Plunder.. The new strand Sword in season 21 and new strand Pulse can get Golden Tricorn! I tried this build with them and you can just keep swinging the sword with the weavers trance and nuke rooms.

Well, we know that season we're getting one extra aspect for every class, the Warlock one being named The Wanderer. I can only imagine it has to do with Threadlings again, so that can easily replace your rift aspect.

Since every one is asking what's causing the chain explosions, he's consuming the Shackle Grenade to get Weaver's Trance, which is on a timer. So any final blows within the timer is causing the chain reactions.

i don't know why, but in my game build just dont work at all, wave don't kill any enemy and necrotic just work 100% better, i don't know whats wrong with me :C UPD: now I know why the build does not work, I don’t have a mod for unreaweling rounds in the artifact, it changes the whole build SO MUCH that without this mod it loses absolutely everything to necrotic grip :/

I'm testing it, and this build just kinda doesn't work. The suspend burst is pretty small, and even with Death Throes x5, it only does about 1/3 of a Legionary's health. You're pretty much only using this on red-bar Vex in the video. Anything tougher than that and this just falls flat.

I tried this build but without circular logic or rufus fury and honestly i can say it's really hard to get kills on harder difficulties and even if i do the range of susped blast is pretty damn small and it also goes off with a little bit of a delay, the enemies literally have to stand on top of each other to get hit by it, can't say more untill i get the specific weapons but without them i feel really weak with this build. Idk if they nerfed this or its just me

Where does Void/Strand Dual Siphon come from? I dont have that mod. I tried a battlegrounds with this build, and it didnt work unless I used the Circular Logic chain gun with frenzy and hatchling. Im 1818 with 100 res and 80 Rev. I ran out of heavy after just a few ads. It doesnt work nearly as well as indicated in the video. Because of missing one mod?

It's not working for a lot of people. I think it may be stemming from artifact mods. That's also where the dual siphon mods come from just so you know.

Thank you for this build. This is by far my favorite strand build on warlock. I was helping carry some of our weaker clan mates with this build in Glassway. It was perfect for both doing damage and locking down the overloads in the boss encounter.

It's definitely a Void/Strand/Solar season - just look at the Artifact! But I also wish there was some more diversity, maybe an Arc week will shake things up. Stasis IMO was too dependant on the old mod system.

@@evankraushaar4684 the Osteo build will probably scale better than this, as even double damage on that suspend proc isn’t going to kill a GM Red bar (I think). Meanwhile, with Necro grips one arcane needle melee can infect a whole group of enemies with unravel, and if that enemies dies the poison will rapidly spread and clear a wave over the course of 35 seconds or so

Hey you should totally check out Traveler's Chosen for these kinds of builds. It's such a great "strand" weapon (the catalyst gives it osmosis) and it really powers ability based builds

Titans are the strand cc gods imo Warlocks got the short end of the stick in terms of cc Titans and hunters need only ONE exotic to suspend a room Warlocks need an entire setup😅😅

@@FalloutFan011 Don't know what game you are playing, but we are not playing the same game. Strandlocks does suspend and do damage with the amount of unravel they can produce, the only issue with easy content enemies just die so fast you don't see them suspended like with Titans and Hunters. All three stands class are fine imo, but hunters got it worst, for easy content, you wont really know it, but for harder content, you are constantly putting yourself in harms way, while it works, it's just risky. Strandlock and Ostego and Grips is just brainless easy mode. You can legit clear content 40 power under w/o thinking yellow and orange bars die off of primary ammo, from unravel and poison ticks, let that sink in just primary ammo. (This should get nerf). Titan is fine, feels like a much better stasis warlock, its just slow with soloing, because I am consistently suspending groups of yellow and orange bars over and over, because they take longer to die. Strandlocks don't have that issue.

So suspend explosions from Weaver's Trance count as grenade kills, but when you eat your threadling grenade the threadlings from that don't count towards anything, grenades, melee, etc. Hopefully these little kinks can get ironed out, I personally prefer to use threadlings over suspend but there's little to no synergy with threadling's damage with fragments or mods. Sad sad.

If they widen the range on the weaver's trace this would be a good build. After a few hours of testing it's just too unreliable even for enemies that are somewhat clustered. They pretty much have to be right on top of another for the suspend hit.

Plunderthabooty, can you (or someone else) guide me on the correct way to consume my shackle grenade so that it is effective? I have not found consuming the shackle grenade to be very efficacious, but I am probably doing it wrong. What's the best "gameplay loop" for deploying this? Thanks for your help.

It didn't work for me either. Idk if it's tied to frames though I'm on series x with 60. I think it was his tangles exploding from suspend netting him the kills. I would love to also see his artifact mods to see if he has mods enhancing those or something with unraveling rounds. I copied this build exactly and couldn't replicate what was happening in the video. I have no strand enhancing artifact mods on.

@@ItsShockwave I too play D2 on Xbox Series X, with sound Internet and high end TV. It seems like you have to consume your grenade; then, kill an enemy that is within a group; then, if you do that, when that enemy dies, it causes the enemies within its vicinity to become suspended. I find it quicker to just kill all the enemies with my weapons than to go through these steps. Plus, I don't see how suspending the group of enemies via the consumption route (assuming you can pull it off) is any better than just tossing the damn shackle grenade into the group in the first place, thus causing all of them to suspend on impact! This is not Plunder's fault, I am just not seeing that this grenade effect is necessarily worth making the centerpiece of a build. But I would love to be corrected!

Key words: IN A GROUP. As in, if ads spread out like they normally do this build does JACK. SH*T. Seriously if you're a warlock, ANY build should be able to kill ads that are grouped together. It's clever, sure, but you spend a lot of time trying to look for groupings rather than all the other things you should be thinking about. Not worth it.

Tried this today. Very good build for ad clear. Though in some of the more difficult content like solo legend lost sectors its less effective. Though that might be just me not being good at the game. Even then still one of the best build that I have used. One interesting thing is that quicksilver rockets actually trigger death throes. So you can get death throes to x5 even before you consume the grenade. Generally redundant, but is quite helpful in more challenging content in the game.

Not a fan of pushing us to yet another app for builds. There's nothing wrong with DIM, and I suspect the move to Mobalytics is just another monetization effort. I don't fault you for this, you do what you need to for yourself. I just don't want yet another app.

Why hunter strand is kinda useless, compare to warlocks and titan, its like hunters are just pvp class, kinda useless to me, specially alot of hunter exotics are kinda useless in pve, specially the new exotic pants. I know that you can get super for 15 sec, but that just boring, and your guns are useless if you are gonna build just for abilities and without the gun play. sigh why bungiem why.
