We used to team kill cheaters back in the day and also the enemy team would call a seize fire on the non-cheaters so we could make his match miserable. It's called community policing and it worked before anti-cheat. People today don't care if they have a cheater on their team though. They use it as an advantage and won't report them. It's so sad.

@@Starnite_ There are other ways to get back at the cheaters on your team. Type in all chat, call a cease fire, and call out where the cheater is. If both sides honor the cease fire and do everything they can to team up on the cheater it will ruin their experience 100%. Get creative. Body block and force him to team kill. In my opinion, people today welcome cheaters on their team if it means a win. If you don't accept it and let the enemy team in, the enemy team could kill him for you so you don't get a ban. You will have to voluntarily lose a match though too, which is too hard for most gamers today. The thing is, if EVERYONE was like this, it would be rare to let the enemy win to spite the cheater on your team. It causes people to 2nd guess if cheating is the best option which leads to less cheating. I would give it 30 days before cheaters just give up for the most part.

If he kills you then he gets a ban. If the enemy kills him then that's what you were going for... then just bag him all game until the timer runs out. Nobody wins the game, but I can guarantee within 30 days, most every cheater will quit. It won't be worth it to cheat anymore because he even has his own team against him. There are any number of things you can do to mess someone's game up, but the other problem is that people welcome cheaters in their lobby because winning is THAT important. There is a reason people hardly cheated before anti-cheat, the ENTIRE gaming community acted like this because there was no anti-cheat. Personally I'm tired of (telling momma) "Reporting"... EVERY GAMER needs to take matters into their own hands and push these cheaters out of our games. Make their games awful. Make gaming great again! (EDIT: The community needs to also place rules on doing this to prevent greifing a legit player. Only those caught with walls, speed hacks, aim bot etc. can be messed with and you have to be certain)

What bothers me with R6 is the BLATANT cheating being so common, people with recoil hacks, slay commands, and invincibility, all things that should be super easy for an anti-cheat to immediately notice. CS has the spin bots, and they've had to warn people from "pretending" to spin bot because they will get VAC'd for it just the same as the actual spin bots, people still do it and I won't feel sorry for them when valve just says "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" but most of the cheating is subtle, people with walls and basic aimbots, ones that don't change the rules of the game for them. Frankly when people are required to be subtle with their hacks or get overwatched, it ends up being a tad bit more fair to actually go against cheaters. R6 cheaters feel like climbing on the underside of a container ship with how unfair they can make the game with seemingly no anti-cheat to stop them.

Completely contrary to the statement Ubisoft made in their announcement of the new anticheat systems... which is how you know they are lying every time they say they are implementing it. And how its more than likely they never were actually working on it at all, only brainstorming how they want it to work, but not how it actually functions.

The banning system prevents you from queuing up, it doesn't kick you out of a current game. Due to a weird legal loophole, they actually can't revoke your access to the game when you get banned. For most games this means they have to provide you access to locally hosted game modes, or dedicated third party servers. It's a complicated situation, but the long and the short is the only way to immediately kick the banned player out of the game is by canceling the match, you can't "kick" a player because they're banned for cheating.

I'm 49 years old, got into PC gaming and PvP way back in early 1998. Loved playing the original Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games for years. About 10 years ago I simply gave up on playing in open public servers because of the massive amount of cheating taking place across multiple games. When I do play now it's only with friends I've made over the years on private servers. In a just world when cheating scumbags are found their consoles should be bricked and on PC their graphics cards fried. Great video, keep up the awesome work.

It's bad when people think it's normal that you fight or have to fight cheaters constantly, and often. That is how some of the older call of duties died. Because cheating became common to the point where you couldn't go one game without running into one. Be dealing with fly hackers to the point where nothing could be done but to stop playing the game. Because it was a cheater only game that made sure it would go on perpetually because they had invincibility hacks.

I remember when I would run into a suspected cheater about once every 10 games, and considered that to be a cheating problem. Now out of 5 ranked games, I'll usually have at least 1 with a blatant cheater, and at least 2 with suspected cheaters, only 1 or 2 games out of the 5 will I be pretty sure were legit. Also the next day after every ranked session I play I get 1 or 2 notifications that someone I reported was banned.

Ubisoft is not doing anything about these cheaters proactively, only reactively with their automatic ban system. The graphics were amazing, just about everything was destructible, the game would run on a potato and the Operators were simple yet fun. You’d be surprised how often you’ll find out somebody is cheating just by the way they know to prefire at crouched head level. It’s an immediate report for me, especially if I haven’t swung. Also anybody in ranked with more than 20 matches and a creeping 2.0 K/D is almost guaranteed to be cheating. Spectated one last week in a replay and they were trying very hard to make it not obvious and were doing a decent job until they made the crucial “do a 360 after start of defense round to see spawns” mistake. Also had a 1.94 K/D and was an emerald. I’m silver 1/gold 4. Why is he in my match?

Could also be client side blood splatter or the body got stuck in the wall and just made a screenshot because he didn't destroy the cam. You have good earphones(I know because I have the same, maybe you don't use an amp?), why not edit settings so you can hear the difference between up and behind? The guy you called a cheater probably used them when he killed you. He seemed sketchy while(and the kill after) flashing himself but not when killing you. Tbh you play worse than half the people I encounter in copper. Like taking out lesion mine in the middle of the room, looking at the door with monty. Also, you don't even know the shield position on the montys back.
