This super tender strawberry cake melts in your mouth! So creamy and delicious!
Strawberry cake with cream and sour cream - so easy and incredibly delicious! Delicate cake that melts in your mouth. The best recipe for strawberry cake with sour cream. Anyone can bake this delicious cake with strawberries, every day! Strawberry cake so juicy and fine! Cake in 15 minutes.
Ingredients / Recipe: (1 cup = 250 ml)
4 eggs
A bit of salt
120 g sugar (3/5 cup)
Stir for at least 10 minutes
It has to be very creamy.
120 g flour (4/5 cup) + 2 teaspoons baking powder
Fold in gradually
The dough must remain very loose.
Baking pan: 24 x 37 cm (9.5 x 14.5 inches)
180 °C (356 °F) top and bottom heat for 12 - 15 minutes
Place 6 sheets of gelatine (10 g) in cold water and leave it there for a few minutes.
300 g sour cream / crème fraîche (or cream cheese) 1 1/5 cups
250 g whipping cream (about 18% fat or 36% - I use the low-fat version) 1 cup
250 g strawberries (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
70 g powdered sugar (if the strawberries are very sweet, you can use a little less) 1/2 cup
puree
Squeeze out the soaked gelatine and heat gently until it melts (do not boil!)
Add some of the pureed strawberries.
Immediately mix the warm liquid into the cream.
Add the remaining strawberry sauce.
Assemble the cake as shown in the video.
For the topping I needed about 400 g of strawberries.
Chill for 30 minutes.
380 ml cold water (1 1/2 cups)
1.5 packs (18 g) red powder for cake glaze / cake jelly
1 tablespoon sugar
Bring to the boil briefly (a few seconds) then let cool for 5 minutes.
Pour over the cold strawberries.
Chill for at least 3 hours.
The strawberry cake is super delicious!! 😋😋😋
