This SUV transforms! Renault Morphoz

This is the Morphoz from Renault. It's a fully electric SUV that transforms from a city car to a travel car within seconds. The back and the front of the car extends by 40cm to allow for an extra battery pack to be fitted, giving the car more range and more power for longer trips. The elongated version of the car also provides more space for luggage and leg room for back passengers.

@@MichaelBCooper It's practical in the way that you could evolve this concept even more for busy cities and have cars that are under 4 meters when parked but go to the C segment when running if you need it to. Anyone living in a packed city dreams of something like that. Besides most of the time we use our cars with just the driver and minimal luggage it would be nice to actually have a small runabout car that suddenly is a family car when you need it. Obviously this is not the case but it's a great first step.

I’ve had this idea in my mind for some time. It came from seeing RVs with the expanding sides. My idea was to have an suv that converts to a pick up truck. Having the the roof in the back removable and the top of the walls retract down into the bottom making a pick up. Of course the seats would have to be stowaway seats and a durable interior. But two vehicles in one.
