Turned out great, nice job with the gloss look. I would recommend to remove all bark on future builds. Keep up the great work as the goal is to continue to inspire others to build something awesome! 👍🏼

I am liking your channel! Its great to see a young entrepeneur. Im wondering if you kiln dried the wood? I have a bunch of kiln dried walnut but i also have a bunch of cookies from the same tree im trying to make something with. So was wondering your drying process. Thanks
@seths_custom_creations Жыл бұрын
Hey! you can either kiln dry or air dry. air drying takes a lot longer. one year per inch is the general rule of thumb, but it can vary based on climate.

Cool table, were those live ammo rounds? Is there a possibility of live rounds going off from endo thermic reaction,or should I use only empty rounds?
@stirlingwoodcraft3 жыл бұрын
@Kris Doyle, you can reload empty 9mm brass(which is what those where) with just a new primer and projectile with no powder, so it looks live but in reality there is no powder

By leaving the bark on you have given it a lot of places to fail. The bark clearly doesn't properly adhere to the wood, and the epoxy will (mainly) in this case only adhere to the bark. The flood coat helps some, but as tip: never leave the bark on if you want a proper bond between wood and epoxy. My comment is only meant to give you advice - not meant as harsh criticism.
