Last night was quite the rollercoaster in the NHL. Brendan Dillion's controversial hit on Acciari got everyone talking, and let me tell you, opinions are flying left and right. Was it intentional? Maybe. Dylan seemed to have a bad angle, and Acciari's sudden movement didn't help. But here's the kicker: a major sports network threw in their two cents, claiming the game has gone soft and Dillion shouldn't face suspension. Seriously, what were they thinking? Acciari took a nasty blow to the head, likely leaving him with a concussion.
And let's not forget Dillion's track record. He's no stranger to these kinds of hits, like the one on Kaprizov that left him with broken ribs. The stand up motion into the jump tells me it was on purpose. He *completely* missed the body. If he's such a pro, how do you miss the body? He jumped as if his name was Trouba, got the head.. His groin was *above* the dasher... He's not 8 foot tall.
