The Bask in Greatness talent for Lorien is absolutely disgusting in Death Must die. I created a broken build within 4 minutes of starting this run.

Just wanted to give an update from todays run where i beat 100 difficulty act 2 with a tornadoes strike build. Tornadoes dealt 52m damage total and had a DPS of OVER ONE MILLION... So this is basically how the run went: archer shoots arrows, arrow hits, crits (40%), 12 tornadoes spawn on target, 1,2m dps, split up around entire screen, everything dead, Djin Boss dies from one arrow crit.

I tried the other option once as well and he followed me around for the rest of the game. New pet.

I never paid attention to the damages on low difficulty but its funny how little HP everything has. Your max damage ability is like 3m. I remember just today i had over 50m on my chain lightning run.

Its working on lower difficulties but i think my maximum with a merris pet build was around 45-50. I have the Pet Dragon from talents and four onyx dragons from items so i start out with five dragons and tons of summon damage but they are just too slow in killing all the annoyijg undodgeable damage sources. The fire insect witches or whatever always get me because the pets cant kill them from far enough away. Strike Archer just kills them from five screens away on spawn.

@@CoNteMpTone Yeah, the dev are a pretty smol team, and the balance is ... not as great as the rest of the content shall we say :p. Still a pretty darn fun game mind you .

@@Bananeisafree yeah but since its a singleplayer game i dont really care. Have you had success with any other builds other than strike?

@@CoNteMpTone I haven't play a lot recently, but I was curious about the "paladin" block and riposte ability, Basically very tanky (block & armor) build that goes very fast on attacks when hit (with riposte and exalted). It kind of work but even when taking almost no bonus in Strike, the damage and ease of use get outshined by the strikes.

with my current set up i have 40% for master offers and 50% for legendaries so i get gem high in all the runs. its so much fun. strike is very strong, there is pretty much no point of playing other abilities

Actually a bit sad because before the update, more builds were viable. Summon was the best but i dont think act 2 difficulty 100 can be beaten with other builds than strike?

@@CoNteMpTone thats what im gonna try next just need to find those gloves with 3 parrots. i think its possible with these gloves and staff that stacks off of summon dmg + gem high for infinite stacking. i just cant find the damn gloves
