That thing took me to top 100 in ratings in like 2~3 days playing like 4 hours a day. When you have a barely decent team you can use it to block or push a flank at your leisure and there is not much the enemy can do. I have over 2000 games on the tank. Still enjoy it.

Droodles here’s the proof. I once played one of Scanner slo (HD android gaming) did a obj 268 vs obj 263. The OBJs won when objs just played like a normal game defensive, BUT AS SOON as the obj 263 team went full Yolo train the obj 268s lost XD

I find that tank line is pretty rewarding once you become accustomed to its play style. You may feel frustration a little bit while playing under tier 9 while tier 8 is kinda okay except when fighting in ridgeline maps.

I think the answer to the "teams in spawn" is probably due to the fact that they are probably using a Steam to play blitz and for some reason, when you play a battle playing blitz on steam, most often the game will load extremely late and they are already in position and ur still at spawn cus the game loads extremely slow.

There might be a reason why the obj 263 is underated, maybe because they find the alpha dmg low for it's role or another reason might be they don't like the look of the line because they're new to the game

The alpha is good for any other class than tds, it cant trade with tds effectively, cant out manuver mediums and lights, cant fight heavies in cover, thats why yoloing with the help of your team is ehat this tank can do best -the gun depression is shitass-

The tank is enjoyable WHEN the gun works, it somehows blooms a lot because it doesn't have the best gun handling and it moves very fast for its playstyle, but I think that it keeps it balanced, if it could snap shots like a medium it would be OP.

I don't know what game you are playing but the Obj I have gets blown to bits all the time. I tend to think you get special treatment from Wargaming based on your high profile. I have NEVER had a game that even comes close to this with the TD in fact it is one of the worst performing TDs I have. I'm no expert in the game but I can do quite well with other TDs.
