The Junkrat traps reminded of how I'm almost always the one person on my team that sees them and I constantly try to shoot them before someone steps in them, but when I don't see them- BOY do I not see them. I had a match where I must have stepped in every trap a 'rat put down. At one point I stepped in one, waited until it broke, then went around the corner just in time to see him throwing the next one, which I promptly stepped in. I also got snatched out of the air by one in a bush while there wasn't even a fight happening. I will say though, stepping in a Junkrat trap with no enemies around is usually funny. Sometimes my teammates will just watch me as a I spin around in the trap and go "GOD DAMN IT!!"

Junkrat passives are so delicious, I always eat them. Someone else kills Junkrat (and they often stand on his dead body)- I eat his bombs. I kill Junkrat- I eat his bombs. I or someone else kills Junkrat and no one is even relatively close to his dead body- I eat his bombs out of spite.

I had a sick airborne kill on a junkrat once, I jumped up with boosters like a shark and bursted him down as he tried to jump over me and then I ate his passive on the way back down. Its always so satisfying to eat those bombs

They amount of times they tell me to swap to Zarya when the enemy has a dva that is remotely doing their job omg. I never swap BTW. Not just out of spite, it just makes zero sense to then try to catch a single mobile character on their team being the slowest least mobile tank in the game. Sorry but no. That, and I'm just really bad on Zarya lol. On her, I either end up bubbling teammates and having under 3k damage or having the highest damage but a constantly dying team. Better stay on whatever I can play more or less tolerably.

​@@Iscoileachme The reason you pick Zarya into Dva isnt to hubt down the Dva. Its to stop her from doing what she does = dive your backline. 1 bubble stops her dive and now she either dips out in which case you can push or she commits and niw she is in your team getting beamed down. And bring proud of not helping your team is kinda cringe

This is a problem of metal rank players who are always pocketed, especially by mercy. They think they're invincible. Once they have a match without pocket, most blame everyone, especially supports who they think don't heal them enough.

This plus in metal ranks you got support running mercy zen, Lucio zen, Lucio mercy and saying they shouldn't need to swap when literally all they doing is healing tank, I absolutely despise supports who pull this 😂😂 don't get me wrong it will work occasionally but when it's not and they refuse to swap...like bro

@@ToonPerc As emonng points out, stats don't tell the whole picture, so that's not actually enough info to decide if Lucio was the play. He also says though that you're better off playing what you're comfortable with though. As a Mei player, I do sometimes notice a low heal comp like Mercy/Lucio or Mercy/Zen can be rough because it's like there's an assumption that Mei can heal herself, so I'll get ignored totally, or sometimes it's that my whole team starts to fall over before I can make a play since she's not a higher dmg character, she's a utility and survival character. I like having a Lucio as a Mei for the extra dmg and movement, but there's lots of cases where it's just not providing enough extra survivability because the whole other team chose high dmg stuff and leaned hard into big dmg fast kills. At the end of the day, I think if I can't pop off on Mei regardless of my team, that's on me for not being better, so I deserve my rank. I should hit more icicles I just also main support and can see how if you can't help your teammates pop off by playing a different support or different way, then you also deserve whatever rank you are for support. The choices are to better work with and enable teammates or carry, so it's valid to not swap if you can just carry on Lucio.

Try not charging zarya so much, not sure if you know how she works exactly but the more you shoot her shield the more charge she gets so she does more damage to you and your teamates

I feel like this person also needs to work on target priority. So many tanks just shoot and focus the other tank rather than poke at the supports or dps. If you’re just shooting the tank the entire time you’re just giving everyone free ult charge, especially the enemy supports.

Because that was the least of this tank players' problems. Low rank players love to hyper focus on charging or not charging the enemy zarya (because it's simple and easy to understand, whereas they don't understand things like playing around your team comp), but in reality the zarya charge wasn't even that big of a deal

Sigma has always been a good tank, you generally just have to get his rotations down and he can be incredibly tanky...he's more aim dependent then say other tanks but he shuts down people alot easier then other tanks. This is coming from a Support main whose been playing Sigma since Season 4, I'm more DVA now but if I have trouble I got back to Sigma whose my hammer to deal with problems

Sigma has incredible mitigation which helps against people trying to ruin your day with Mauga-Bastion and alike. Also, he's kinda spammy himself, so you can easily have very high damage stats, the only problem is, sometimes you hit your first shots but can't finish the opponent because of how weird his stones work (skill issue, for sure). And you can't depend on your dps, there is no follow up. Not in the low ranks lol. And pray to God they don't have Sombra. You hacked =>> you lose your mitigation magic. 😢

​@@shigarakitomura4587that's because unfortunately, a lot of games in the lower ranks are decided by the tank diff. If your on dps, try to use more health packs. Gotta be enough for you, for a tank, that's nothing against 1000 cool downs thrown at them in 0,5 seconds.

Look at where you're at and look at where supports are at. I bet you're playing on the other side of the map or 1v5 and instantly fall over in a spot where healing you would be a suicide too. If you consistently not getting heals it's 100% your position

i mean, this vod is a perfect example of why youre not getting healed though. its not even like we're actively choosing not to (most of the time), but if we take our focus off of our tanks for even one second, they fall over because they are allergic to cover in lower elo, and when team fights are basically decided by which teams tank dies first, tanks get priority

I am here to once again make the point that no one asked for an Orisa meta, no one WANTS an Orisa meta. An Orisa meta means we fall into the slippery slope of the 3 Tank Hero meta which no one wants to go back to. Leave the battle cattle in the shed and let other heroes have a moment in the spotlight. Don't go Orisa into Zarya, that's her worst matchup. She can't headshot, so gold is useless, and she goes through spin, so spin is also useless. I think this guy needs to learn reinhardt, because all he does is stand in front of the enemy tank.

Orisa vs Zarya is situational; if Zarya has no speed or means to close the gap then it's in Orisa's favour. If the comp is brawl heavy with high burst damage and speed then Orisa will almost certainly be dead on cooldown. As with most things relating to tanks: it's down to player skill and team composition.

The issue with hero bans is that it's a slippery slope. Besides it can 100% work as both *are* healing they're just not gonna have huge heal numbers compared to flex supports unless one is on mercy and just healbotting, which is suboptimal. High healing doesn't win games, after all.
