Nice video as always, thanks. I bought the exact same aquarium (Oase 90) but with the white cabinet. On arrival we noticed that the cabinet was made 2 cm too small each side (front/back) sides a 0.5 cm overhang. Called up Oase and they’ve blanked me- said in first call that it’s nothing to worry about. Absolutely gutted. Was a dream tank ruined by their lack of care/product quality.

@rich axe I have the Evolution Aqua Aquascaper 600 and that also has an overhang at the front (around 1cm). The tank was designed like that. I've had it for nearly 4 years so wouldn't be worried about a small overhang.

Looking forward to seeing the scape on this one. When I was setting up mine this was the size I wanted. Being in the middle of the US plus the supply issues for the last two years, having it custom made would have been the only option. I ended up with the 90U from UN Systems. Almost twice the volume (44 Vs 68gal) but was still $200 cheaper than a custom 90P. Anyway, I've been torn about which size I would prefer. I have loved the 90U, but the added height can be a challenge to scape. I'm gonna miss the big shallow, such a unique size, but great choice for a replacement. Good luck.

I would love to see a Classic scape with a carpet, all your other tanks are very planter heavily and i think u should follow these «roots» on a bigger scale. I should've gone with my gut, and used a foam mat, too. I asked Oase if I needed one, but they said no, just use that flat piece. I noticed later that the back edge of my tank doesn't even fully rest on it. Presumably the surface underneath isn't perfectly flat, so the plate doesn't really do anything. Seems like a problem waiting to happen :/ The openings on the side are a bit narrow, so my filter tubing bows out and puts pressure on the intake and outlet clamps at the rim. Not to be totally negative, it seems very sturdy and looks really nice :) Curious to see how it works for you. UNS wood stand would be my first pick, but I haven't seen one in stock in years.

I'll be honest it ain't bad at all, but I'm not a fan. I don't mind shorter tanks I have 4 of my own varying size of Aquariums, from 12 up to 60 litres, but I liked the big shallow far better. Not any of the scapes specifically, but the length was so unique, it's not common to see tanks that long, that's what made it so awesome to look at for me. Regardless I always enjoy any scaping video you do in a new setup, so I'll be looking forward to the video when the fun begins.

Congratulation to your new Aquarium. I'm soory that you broke the wooden plate. I want to mention that the wooden plate is smaler than the aquarium so it is looking like the tank is flying. Feedback for Oase (if you happen to be watching): you should look into residue-free adhesives. That sticky residue left behind after Mark removed the "your stand was made by" tag is really annoying. If you look at any premium product on the market, they go out of their way to avoid adhesives that leave sticky residue!

Hi MJ from 🇨🇦 Can you share which Seachem chemicals you use and why you use them. There are soooo many products they make and choices can be overwhelming. I find my tanks are low maintenance and I was using a variety of Seachem ritually/daily but also find if I don’t use any (except Prime & Stability with water changes) my tanks are healthy!! I have a good variety of plants that seem to do well with no extra additives. My concern is that down the road I may discover I need to keep up with a daily dose of ‘something’. Any advice is appreciated 🌱🐠🌱
