Now that 9.0 to 10.0 is more decompressed, could you give the Olifant Mk.2 a go? It's such a cool tank! Amazing gun/round AND thermals too

It's great for long range maps. Suffers a bit with poor turret traverse and gun handling but it's always my first spawn in maps like big Poland or eastern Europe. The Optics are amazing, especially with commander thermals.

Its armor still is not as reliable especially the hull doesnt do anything. And 9.3 gets uptiered to 10.0 and 10.3 way more often than downtiered, so nothing rly changed except that it doesnt face Leopard 2 Premium Spam anymore^^

@@SpriGgEx I've noticed significantly more favourable matchmaking personally. Prior to the changes I've maybe played 2 or 3 full downtiers at 9.3 in the last 6 months. I was playing a bunch just to unlock the new green camo for the Olifant this past week and I've probably seen at least a dozen or so full downtiers. The armor is definitely not good, and it's absolutely enormous, it dwarfs most MBTs I can think of because it's so bloody tall, but if played to it's strengths, the gun and optics, it's amazing. For everything else I've got the Khalid. They make a dope combo.

It also has access to engine smoke, which pairs nicely with the gen 2 thermals. A lot of people are caught off guard by this mechanic at 9.3

@@BambeH It still makes no damn sense why you can see through Engine Smoke with Thermals like it wasnt even there but normal smoke is like looking at a wall. Also Engine Smoke should be warmer so it should irritate Thermals by that already.

I originally picked italy as the first tech tree i wanter to max out. Still havent done that but my friends thought i was crazy/loved suffering . alot of the tree is hard, but it has homebrew gems or certain imported gems that really make it shine

It's biggest issues were a lack of lineups pre hungary. It's still got that a bit but waaaaay less so.

After most of BR 10.x vehicle added 0.3 br, the 9.x vehicle finally had got some love, South Africa and FR 9.3/9.7 is playable right now.

@@Pt_Lacky because the VBC is cancer. Even without the APDSFS unllocked i could make alot of trouble on the Battlefield and it has Gen 2 Thermals as well maybe even Gen 3. In Sim it fought against T54s oO It only had Problems facing russian MBTs because of the almost everywhere 80mm min Armor. The VCC sucks, against Tanks and Planes it sucks against both. The APDSFS is too small to do real damage but the fire rate and Ammo Storage doesnt make up for that. No Clue why that thing moved up never saw anyone even me performing well with it.

It's hit and miss, it can be an absolute little ratbeast but there's also times where you dump half your rounds into something that just refuses to die - or they bounce - or they ricochet. It has thermals, I guess that may have been a reason to bring it up, but... it's sort of borderline for 9.3, it was better at 9.0.

@@arminarminson8583 the other tank (the premium version) got DM33, and the tanks that went up were mainly 10.0 and higher

The MTCA (premium version) also has no thermals and that went from 9.0 to 9.3 - although I guess they did give it DM33 - because they pulled it up, mind you. Would've been nice if they'd just left it well enough alone, wouldn't have minded a Mk.2 and MTCA lineup.

no you dont. KPZ70 at least as a short reload. Nothing Speaks for the MBT70. It has a shitty shell and sees mostly uptiers.

@@SpriGgEx It's a pretty modern tank for it's time. It's what let the americans make the abrams. It also has a pretty awesome design, a stabilized secondary gun and is pretty fast

@@calatonic The Gun is still the downside of that Tank having one of the weakest MBT Guns that fires APDSFS and by far the weakest at its BR. But its armor lately has been more trolly on the turret than it used to be.

Been smashing some research into this tank over the last day and a half with my 8.0 line up just need to spade my shilka in there and got about 20k to go to get this should get it pretty easily after work today then I gota finish my Israeli tow launcher the giraf get those ready for the anniversary sales

It's still super squishy but if you get into a good spot (read: rat it up to the extreme) it's a murder machine. I've had immense amounts of fun with it in the past few days :D

Sadly you forgot 2 things: 1. The 9.0 Lineup for Italy is ruined. Thers like no Tank Backup left to take with you that is usable at 9,0 anymore. Useless. 2. It has a Good Heli with the A.109EOA-2 at 8.7 thats better than what the german Lineup can offer. A bit more Range and Pennetration, faster ATGMS and especially way better Optics. But they got nerfed recently. Now they are down to 10x. Not sure when they changed but they were better than 10x when i regulary used it. The G91Y is ok it has the Big Nords but not CCIP for the rest of the Weapons and it compresses alot in High Speed Dive Maneuvers, that causes either crash or prevents you from dodging any anti air fire.

You should Make it a Series. 9.0 Tanks in comparison maybe with proper Backup Tanks of 9.0 and 8.7 for Example: Japan Typ74s worse Handling but better APDSFS and Hydraulic Suspension US XM803 and Merkava MK1. Also US has a rly strong 9.0 Lineup. I added the F3H-2 Demon as a Fighter now because of up to 5 Bombs + AIM9Bs Germany has the Techtree TAM and the Class3(P) USSR has T62M-1 Object279 & BMP-3, also some T55s for backup. Britain has Chieftain MK10 and the Vickers MK.11 Japan has the Type 89 Type 87 RCV and the Type 74s China has tons of 9.0s but i dont have China so i dont rly know what to go for here^^ France is still unplayable between 8.0 and 9.7. Sweden has at least good 8.7s and 9.3s Israel issnt doing well at 9.0 either but at least has a number of OK 8.7s
