The heat post pen damage on ru 251 is impressive. Most heat shells take 2 to 3 shots or more to kill a tank.

Scouting in War Thunder is literally the men's paradox of the Ketchup in the refrigerator door and the Opala 69 in a cluster of a zillion old cars from 6 miles away of distance. It's not a bug, it's a ingame recreation of this feature.

Germany 7.0-8.0 is probably some of the strongest and most fun vehicles at the BR range, somehow the team mates still make it incredibly hard to enjoy sadly but the RU 251 is a gem and i wish they had it in the tech tree because of how good it is.

The entire series based on the Ru251 chasis are extremely fun to play, since they all share the mobility. JgPz 4-5 actually I would say is even better, since it's so low, and has amazing optics.

The most ridiculous thing about the ru 251 is that it can be behind your spawn, killing your team, before your team even gets close to a cap point.

I wasn't around during that time, but I was playing when that thing was was still 6.7 and Germany still had a monster of a 6.7 lineup as in sla 16 tiger 2 and normal tiger 2 and the 105 one the Panther 2 and the coelian j tiger and ru 251 and anything else that Germany had at 6.7 at the time

It was 6.7 back in the day and was added alongside the IS-6. It was one of the few thifngs that could reliably destroy them, but sometimes both nations would be teamed up together and it was a nightmare for the rest of the nations. Not very fun times for those not driving them i gotta say

@@Robin-sf3gk I play both and Lekpz M41 is a great tank and you can use them in a similar way but the RU 251 is significantly superior. I often have them in the same lineup. The RU 251 has a lower profile, is a fair bit faster, handles a lot better and importantly has a 90mm cannon rather than a 76mm cannon. Note the RU 251 has a reverse speed of 80k/h vs 19k/h which makes a big difference.

one my favorite tanks, start at 5.7, was a nightmare there, moved up to 6.7, was still a nightmare, moved up to 7.7, was still playable then for some reason it got moved up to 8.7 till gaijin went on their MBT spree and now it's finally sitting at 7.0. In other words this was Germany's version of the hellcat saga.

This and the prem KT is how I grinded out the german ground tree to 9.7. Plus with fastcap and the Unicorn Me262, I ground out the air tree to 8.7. Miss the glory days of German 6.7

I am convinced that gaijin is aiding youtubers effectiveness. No heat fs round that I've ever shot has 1-killed any MBT or medium tank... None. And I've fired thousands over the past 11 years. Another thing. You guys seem to have magically magnificent aiming, as you guys seem to aim a -5° depression gun over hills hitting people at much lower elevation. Not saying that you guys aren't skilled by now, but you have had a helping hand from gaijin. 11:14

i do agree spotting is very inconsistent and annoing in WarThunder. like you aim right at a enemy 400m out from you on the open field: nope not spotted, here is your penalty cooldown. meanwhile enemy 1200m out behind 2 trees and 3 bushes and only 10% visible: spotted! (the scene happened many times to me and oftend exactly as described and with the same tank)

Small correction to your comment of the RU being undertiered: Most light vehicles in war thunder are. But people like their "fast aggressive gameplay" which they can only get if their vehicle is pampered with far too strong cannons and ammunitions. that being said, thank you for "every day in may" :) i love your vids

One benefit of being a German main is that enemy teams tend to underestimate German teams, I’ve noticed a marked increase in spawn camp rushes in games where my team is all German as opposed to a more mixed bag on my side. Maybe just me but it’s pretty consistent when I play.

The benefit of being a German main is that all the way up to 7.0 you can steam roll just about anyone besides Russia

Specifically, 1.0 is where everyone kills everyone easily (But you have more people in the tank, so you survive more) and 4.3 gets you on T-34-57 playground where tables turn and they get to treat YOU the same way you treat them all the way (Hit anywhere and it's a crit). At the late ratings, you get a choice of ammo which deals with all the threats, but at the same time you get vehicles that are virtually immune to one ammo type when playing against soviets. So, finally, you get to learn about ammo types, which is stuff all the other peeps forced to do much earlier.

If you don't like one death leavers, take it up with the snail. The leavers just lost SL on that game, and spawning in again will most probably just lose them more. If the 🐌 wanted people to stay in the match, they'd reward people who stay in the match.

if you are so bad at the game that you cant afford to spawn more than 2 vehicles then the game probably isnt for you. Also most one death leavers are doing it in Premiums especially german players, your repair cost is nothing stop the cope
