4:02 You can actually tell ATGMs and SPG-9 dudes to abandon their positions and run! You just have to hit Q and then select bail out and confirm. It doesn't make much of a difference compared to them just dying in instant action but in campaign it does seem to count as one less personnel lost.

Don't forget that the BRDM and BTR also have PKT 7.62mm in addition to the KPVT 14.5mm. The PKT would do be more useful than the KPVT when engaging infantry in the open due to its higher rate of fire and longer ammo belt.

The Russians due to their slow reverse speed will turn around and drive back downhill with their turrets facing backwards when jockeying behind deflate. This can be seen in the satellite images from the tank battles around Kiev in 2022 that are now available online. The tank tracks left behind in the dirt are looped because the Ukrainians and Russians with their T72s, 64s, 80s, etc, turn around instead of backing up because the reverse speed is so slow.

That's a MAJOR weakness with the T-72 series in particular, their reverse speed is around 3 km/hr.

Here's 6 rounds and a dream!" 😆 I don't know if I agree with the game's assessment that the mission was successful. You definitely made a good account of yourself (except for that first BMP-1 😂 he got smoked!) but until that last vehicle, you got blasted pretty quickly and you lost all your forces. I wonder how the game determines when you've won, because as the last 2/3rds of the video demonstrated, the NATO forces were most definitely not all destroyed when the game declared you the winner.

My playthroughs I kept getting ABSOLUTELY GREASED in the first few minutes, and then I was able to make a desperate last stand with my only remaining BMP and hold up the last tank and couple of M113s just long enough for the trucks to get away. I was low on ammo, out of missiles, and had a track blown off, but I was able to stall them just long enough. I was able to blow a track off the remaining enemy tank and damage his gun, he could see me clearly but wasn't shooting.

Think your PT-76 would be more effective if you led those shots more. From the travel of your shells, they were hitting either the engine or just behind the engine. Would probably be more effective if the first shot doing nothing, leading more to target crew and ammo instead of continuing to send shots into the rear

The warhead didn't fuse properly On all early heat round in order for them to from a heat jet the tip of the round there the fuse is has to hit the taget If that doesn't happen then the round will hit but be ineffective due to the heat jet not forming properly
