im addicted to watching grubby play direct strike and playing direct strike myself, honestly im having such a good time with it, played legion and castle fight for a long time but this is the first time i play on w3 and it's really good.

If you had told me in 2016 that people would be buying Warcraft 3 JUST to play Direct Strike because of Grubby I would've said "Why the hell has it taken Grubby twenty years to find the custom games tab?"

Hey Grubby, i'm feeling like we could get more use out of the hereos. For example buying the +str/agi item and lifesteal on pala so he can regenarate life when he is using divine shield. Seems like hes programmed to use it when hes low on life so that would give him a lot more durability before and after using it and increasing his damage output. And for the lic,h just standing in the back line while waves are stacking up and beeing oom most of the time, a sobi mask would do a lot. Dont know if these things are actually more usefull than another unit but i thought it would be an Idea to throw out there.

The guy that played against me played solo hero into walkers + taurens revive on the 4th wave or so. But he had only one tauren and one walker. In the end, I had something like 13 gryphs and 4-5 tanks to kill gyros. Felt quite strong against tauren revive.

Funnily, I bought wc3 after I saw your beginners guide, not this. Then I played 6 human campaign missions, finished stratholme on hard difficulty and kinda quit... Now I am back due to this 😂

I think you should not underestimate how powerful orb of corruption is on Lich. He stays alive super long and attacks fast, his base attack becomes much stronger and the debuff it applies just deletes most units he is attacking.

Taurens are actually good. Largely because giants, tanks, and also breakers are good. Their damage is fantastic against giants and tanks, which are otherwise two of the most difficult to deal with units in the endgame. Resorting to siege units for tanks is generally not great, because there's no guarantee they will even target the tanks, and they suck against most other things. Combine with bloodlust, walkers, and speed auras for best results, naturally.

really curious on mass data of range vs melee hero and warden/pala/sh vs rest (as they can keep themselves alive)

saw the video, played a round and got simillar drafts. little differences here and there, even better i would argue. Grunts Sorceress for early, priest t2 (so some heal and inner fire) Archmage instead of Pala, though i had both for choice. went for a simmilar stategy/buildorder and it worked like a charm. 1200 elo though, you could notice when the enemies didnt go for air. i would have had bats and flying machines for counter. 22min win and my dmg was by far the hightest PS: oh and Dreadlord 2nd didnt hurt either :D

I don't understand your Aura logic, most of the time you don't get the aura from you alied heroes because they are already dead, your bonechimes is not redundancy because your ally has a dreadlord..
