Today I'm going to the dark side using an incredibly strong Great League Team for Pokemon GO! Wigglytuff got access to the charge move Icy Wind, and when you pair that with a strong core of Bastiodon and Shadow Victreebel, things get a bit crazy!

If you're ever feeling super spicy and wanting a thematic team, I've had a surprising amount of success with a triple Poli team consisting of Politoed lead with Mud Shot/Weather Ball/Ice Beam, XL Poliwhirl with Mud Shot/Mud Bomb/Scald (legacy), and Poliwrath with Counter/Icy Wind/Scald. I love how that they all have benefitted from various buffs in recent seasons. And alignment doesn't even matter much for it because they mostly have the same counters 😅

At 14:10 I think you had a win condition. If you had thrown acid spray, you could have farmed down the Trevenant. Potentially double KOing. Then you come in with Basti, throw your charge move, they shield, you shield, and you could have taken 1 surf and potentially taken them out with a second charge move

I have a specific team to counter that is a trash can of a team that should be respected if you don't have a counter for it 😂. Great video, Zyonik. I ran into this team yesterday, and I didn't have a team ready for it until I created one.

For whoever is interested: get freelo right now with Swampert double flyer (one flyer has to be Gligar). If they play Zyoniks team, they'll swap into Wiggly. You stay in with Swampert, just use hydro cannon and shield one icy wind. You either win the matchup with Swampert, or they win with a little bit of health and have no shields left. If the first case happens, just align Gligar with Basti and your other flyer with Vic - win. If the latter happens, finish up wiggly with your non-Gligar flyer and 2v1 Vic and Basti with Gligar and shield advantage. It's a win either way!

Lol pretty similar to the team Zyonik was running the other day. He had Whiscash instead of Lanturn. Whiscash is a very good lead to run with because of all the people using Lanturn as their lead. I did pretty well using Zyonik’s team. Were you leading with Lanturn and if so what leads were you seeing your opponents running? I started today running a double Water team because I got tired of seeing Talonflame in just about every match. I’m using Whiscash, Lanturn with Abomasnow as the lead. Lot of my opponents were using either a Grass type or Dragon Type as their lead I’m guessing to combat Water leads and all of them had Talonflame in the back. I saw a lot of Altaria and Dragonair leads. Saw a decent amount of Grass Type leads as well so I decided to run Abomasnow with Powder Snow and Weather Ball/Energy Ball. I went 13-2 with that team so far.

I have been sitting on a Shadow Vic 3/13/13 for months now. Can't get the Frustration switched. Is it still useable without Acid Spray?

Yes. It's used to get alignment and can usually do that with fast moves, only.

Dont stress too much, Vic likes higher attack weight. It’s pretty forgiving too. After reading the swag tips deep dive article the one I went with is 8/10/15 and I have a high SP bellsprout I could have gone with but the 8/10/15 hit all the breakpoints better.
