This Technique Catches Fish on Spoil Island Sandbars Tip

Here's a technique I often use to catch fish around inshore sand bars.

Gear used:
Perception Striker 11.5 kayak
Star Seagis 7' medium (fast) rod
Penn Battle III 3000 reel
3.5" Gold Digger Salt Strong paddle tail
D.O.A. CAL 1/8 oz short shank chartreuse colored jig
15lb KastKing braid (Hi Viz Yellow)
30lb Trik Fish leader (snook in the area) (approx. 3')
I used an albright knot to join my braid to my leader and a loop knot to attach my leader to my lure.
