What is your view on the fenders' American ultra Lux telecaster? I'm looking for my first guitar but never want to trade it in. What is your opinion? Is there a better guitar you'd recommend. I don't want to mod it down the line. im a simple guy, I want to do it right the first time. Your opinion is appreciated 😊

It’s all about your price but I’ll make it succinct: If you’re looking for one and only one Telecaster that you’ll never sell or mod and will keep forever, I’d pick the Fender American Vintage II 51 Telecaster. If you want something more modern and can get you sounds of both, a Fender American Ultra (also cheaper). Sweet Tea is the best color. Don’t waste your money with an Ultra Luxe.
